thinking of getting the drummer or the jardine for my cityx and i was wondering if i need to get the race ecm and race filter to go with it? i'm really just looking to increase the sound of the bike and not so much the power..,but if the exhaust needs these parts to go with them to make the bike run correctly, then thats what i will do...thanks for any help |

I've heard the Force, Drummer, D&D and Jardine and as far as I'm concerned that's the order in which I like the sound... I'd get a Drummer, which has the added benefit of being an EXCELLENT performer . I'd get the filter also, and keep the race ECM or TFI in mind. |

No... you're the pothead. I didn't say louder, I said better, and even qualified it by saying that's the order "I" like them. The Force is just plain LOUD! I can't even use a font large enough so I won't try. It's LOUD and sounds VERY good in all situations. Acceleration, coast, shift... everything. Just awesome sounding. The only other pipe I think that will compare would be the Becin. The Drummer is both loud and deep... A good combo if you ask me. The D&D is a little louder, and a little more raspy. Not as deep and "thumpy". (I like thumpy) The Jardine is pretty decent. GREAT for the price though, and the power curve is certainly usable. |

The bike will run fine with the stock ecm and the jardine. You can hear mine at http://home.austin.rr.com/crumpley/buell.html |

I was talking to Bob Cashwell yesterday. He's a sale rep for DragSpecialties. He said a buddy of his put drag pipes on a new twin cam and didn't do anything to the fuel. Toasted the motor in less than 500 miles. I'd get the air fuel checked after installing the pipe. |
