WTF !!!! I got my bike all cleaned up and spit shined, and started it up and it fired right up !! BUT, the damn back tire is flat AGAIN !!! 10,000 miles and that's the second effing flat I've had, I found the nail in the last flat but couldn't find anything in this one ??? Is it me, is it the tire ?? I'm not riding any differently than I did the Blast and I NEVER had a flat on it, wore one out but no flat ?? Front tire is full of air, and the back was fine on the last ride we had, can't remember how long ago it was but not too long ?? Guess I'll be taking the Toyota to the meeting tomorrow 7:00 p.m I assume ?? CJ (aka tire slayer) |

CJ, if'n ya want, I can come over and take a look at it, but I am betting it's a REAL small rim leak(just not a perfect seal against the rim). I can walk your bike the the gas station fill it with air, and we can ride over to Racine together tomorow evening. |

Went riding after work today. It was great till the sun went down. Coolice, what time of year do you guys usually go to "Nevada MA" and hows the weather then. Most of the places I have been looking at are in the same general area and I'm not sure what the seasonal conditions are like. Steve, I was at the January meeting. I was the big guy. I Don't think we formaly met though. |

CJ, don't feel bad. I'm around 13,000 and on my fifth rear, three flats=(one staple, one nail, one sharp rock), and two thread flingers. I think you might remember the second of the two thread flingers on our way up to Appelton. That was a long way to ride a bike sideways. and I think Rocco spotted my last flat (staple) on our way back from Coolices neighborhood. It started feeling squishy around Crystal Lake. |

I think I'm going to pass on riding the bike to the meeting, but I will be there !! I'll give you guys a call Mackay when it's convenient maybe you can take a look at my tire and see if it's the rim or I ran over something, but I will wait until this weekend to actually do something about it !! I want to pout a while first !! LOL Wingnut, I do remember your ride to Appleton, wow 5 tires in 13,000 guess I'm not doing too bad !! See you guys tomorrow !! CJ |

BadS1-did u say "paint" do we need to talk about our "feelings" Wingnut- We are planning Sept 06-weather- I have been there, May,May,June,July,July,August,Sept,Sept,Sept,Sept-so I guess its summer months. Besides you can't get into the areas the guide has permits for due to the snow level. And we tried 1 year to get thru the snow level |

Hey Wingnut! Why no interest in the Dragon trip? It's more than apparent you love to ride. Jason and I were talking about that a few weeks ago. We figured it would be right up your alley! |

HELP please excuse my brain fart but what time is the meeting tonight? Rocco, I have been thinking about it, It looks like fun, but that's a loooonnnngggg drive, don't have a trailer, and just got a really nice new "used" truck that I don't want to put tons miles on right away. I figure one long trip per year should be my limit. I'm still thinking though, and I have been looking at the map alot. What's the cut off date for the trip, and are there still acomidations down there? |

I believe the meeting is at 7:00pm. I'll be there about 6:30pm to play it safe though. I'm riding the bike too. Not as nice as the weatherman said, but what the hell! As far as the Dragon Trip, there really is no cut off date. Yes, the rooms I reserved became available to rent to the general public as of March 18th, but they still have Inn Rooms available and some Cabins. You can still get the rental discount, just join the Dragon Slayers Club when you get down there, which is free, and it's then 25% off rooms and 15% off cabins. Hell, you can probably find someone to room with. I may even be able to help you. Plus I've got room on my trailer for an extra bike as does Jason, I think. Seriously think about it. Man if you love twisty roads, they don't come twistier than those!! |

He's pretty well busted up. Got all sorts of hardware in his ankle and forearm. He was pretty well hopped up on morphine but he's going to be all right (after a long recovery). I'm bringing him a 2005 motorcycle buyer's guide (his Vulcan 2000 is trashed), a copy of the latest Easyrider and smuggling in some pizza this afternoon. |

Nancy, glad to hear your good news. It's nice when good things happen to good people. Hey CJ, even though you were making fun of me last night, and a gay reference was uttered by you,, what was the name of the company that makes the tail bag you bought? I can't see spending $110 for one. |

Aaron, he was in a different crash yesterday morning. On his way to work at about 6am when a delivery truck made a left turn into him. I just got back from the hospital, and he's doing ok, but it's going to be a real long recovery. His helmet most definately saved his life. |
