As I said, any car can beat any other car, given enough money, engineering, etc. A rice rocket rider could just as easily say that he'll beat any Buell out there, but me, I'd rather have the Buell any day. It's all a matter of personal preference, unless all you care about are numbers. And if they do come out with a new Camaro in 2007, that's good - the Mustang needs something to run against, and it's not right for it to try to compete with that nasty- GTO.

Hmmm. I would love to get my hands on the 90-93 stang with the 5.0 engine. Anyways, all this talk about Bullitt and Mustangs has got me wanting to watch the movie. Time to pop in the ol DVD and watch. |

Did you strip your rims of paint or did you just pull them off the bike and send them? Also did they polish and sand the rims before they were chromed or do I have to do that? |

Hey Bert, it's not good to keep cars stored for too long. If you want, I can drive that Buick around for you until you get back. Hey, anything to help out... |

Jim that car I posted a pic of used to be mine.I sold it back to the gentlemen that I bought it from and he passed away last year.I'm presently trying to buy the car back. Its a real rare car.A 1970 Cutlass F-85,W-31.One of 104 made in 1970.It was the race car option.Small block 350 12 to 1 motor.Facory aluminum heads, intake and Holly 750 dbl.pumper, and a 4 speed with a factory scatter shield instead of the standard bell housing. The interior is black bench seat, kinda basic like a old squad car.LOL No heater, radio,or even carpet it is a rubber mat through out just like a work truck. The rearend was a aluminum housed with a 4.11 gear stock.I had it at the strip once.Dropped the pressure in the tires a few pounds and it clicked off like a 13.08.Not bad for a small block with 70 series tire hey?? |

Love the Olds and the Buicks. Got a buddy I grew up with his dad has a '67 Grandsport. Original 400 4 speed car. Now a stroked 455 in it, running high 10s. now IIRC. Guy bought the car brand new in '67. |

For the kinda power it's making the wing is needed. The car needs down force. |

Here's something nice: And it's got this inside: Very retro, and with the power to match. Woohoo! So maybe after my third and fourth deployments, I can afford a Charger SRT8 and a Mustang Cobra. Hmm... |

Okinawa, while I appreciate, and respect the GNX, heck, I almost bought one in '87 It wont keep up with the new Cobra, low to mid 13s these days ain't all that special, no disrespect intended. Heck, if your GNX is stock, my Brother-in-law's Supercharged civic would have embarrass it, with it's 13.1 1/4 mile time And it was a sleeper. No aftermarket "fart can", no bolt on boy racer crap, etc.. Just a lil' lower, and 17" tastefully tucked in the wheel wells Unfortunately he did 18 months for outruning the cops when they broke off a chase at an estimated 140+ Current cars(non-exotics) that can keep up with a GNX are: Caddilac CTS-V Corvette Chrysler 300C(maybe, runs 13.4-13.6) Chrysler Crossfire SRT-6 Dodge Viper Mits Lancer Evo MR & RS Pontiac GTO Suburu WRX STI That's just a few of 'em. The 2005 Mustang GT runs 13.80s, so it wouldn't take a whole heck of a lot to get it down in GNX teritory. I don't know the specs of the proposed 2006 Cobra(does anyone that doesn't work at Ford?), but I'd be willing to bet it will get down in to the low 13s considering a 2003 Cobra breaks in to the high 12s. I doubt they will make it slower |

What was that about Olds? Chiltons listed the 455ci motor in a 71 Olds station wagon as 420HP, 510ftlb. The trick was keeping it alive over 5300RPM. |
