I wouldn't trust it. Even if it was 3". I've hung a few 2,000 pound transformers with the stuff. I think you need some steel "I" beams. Is this a EJ thing? |

What the heck is Kindorf Electrical Channel? And what is the loading/support configuration. No FEA needed. Should be a simple code check in the AISC manual. Lay it on me. But please remember... I ain't a real engineer. |

Good quote in here... http://www.washtimes.com/national/20050328-125306-7868r.htm NACO, Ariz. -- Members of a violent Central America-based gang have been sent to Arizona to target Minuteman Project volunteers, who will begin a monthlong border vigil this weekend to find and report foreigner sneaking into the United States, project officials say. James Gilchrist, a Vietnam veteran who helped organize the vigil to protest the federal government's failure to control illegal immigration, said he has been told that California and Texas leaders of Mara Salvatrucha, or MS-13, have issued orders to teach "a lesson" to the Minuteman volunteers. "We're not worried because half of our recruits are retired trained combat soldiers," Mr. Gilchrist said. "And those guys are just a bunch of punks. (Message edited by enp83 on March 28, 2005) |

Been a long time since I have browsed the site. It looks good. On to my issue, I need to find a dealership that can really work on Buell's and not just say that on the phone. I moved to Maryland and reside in Laurel now. I have found some local dealers, but don't want to waste my money/time. So far I have Elkridge, Annapolis, and Baltimore. Any words of wisdom or experience from these shops with service? I can't work on it anymore due to a lack of garage and the girlfriend would not be pleased with it in the living room... |

I hope we do have a border war. At least it would make the Government pay attention to the problem... My AR is ready. |

BTW, For more information about the Minuteman Project click here. There were so many people signing up (at least in Arizona) they ended up not taking anymore volunteers as of last weekend. If you have a military, police, etc., background, that isn't the case, they're more than welcome. Of course, the ACLU in now involved. Those of you that can, should support your right to peacefully protect our borders, working with our under staffed border patrol, since our government chooses not to. My parents grew up, lived and own property in Bisbee, Ajo and Why Arizona and many of my relatives still live there today. You have to be there to see what's really going on. It's totally out of control and you wouldn't accept it if you really saw it for yourself. Most look at this scenario as out of sight, out of mind. BTW I mentioned 2 years ago here, just updating the information. Not looking for a debate, or start a political fight, just pointing out some information you might be interested in following. -SD: |
