I added stripes to mine to set off the black wheels with red striping. Yours would look good with black wheels on it. |

Thanx guys! Gowindward, your's looks cool also! Kinda the reason I went with the two outside stripes on the firebolt. REALLY wanted to get down to Kansas this weekend. Doesn't look like the weatherman will cooperate though... Were going to try next weekend. Come on spring! g u s (Message edited by gusmyster on March 25, 2005) |

Gusmyster, This is one from the side. I'm not really good at resizing these, but there are some more at this link: http://www.sportbikes.com/photo/showgallery.php/cat/500/ppuser/43902 |

Gus, Ya, Old man winter is really holding on with his teeth this week, just refusing to let spring push him out the door. I needed the bad weather this week to keep me off the bike and get the new tires on it so it's not all bad. |

What type of paint did you use for the blue? Part #? |

Ditch Digger, Man you earned that handle didn't you! Glad you came out OK! Actually they are just decals from a local sign shop. I just walked in and had a cad drawing of the stripes and asked them to make them. They gave me a couple rolls of vinyl and I went out and matched it to the logo on my seat. Coyote, Man that looks sharp! If I go with black rims, I'll have to pinstripe the rims blue and add something to the swing arm. I would have to get rid of the amber letters on the tank also. Not sure I'm willing spend the cash this year. Firebolt thanx & I love to see buell pics! g u s |

I can't remember the name of the place I got the wheel Stripes from, but they sell graphics kits as well. I bought the vinyl from a sign supply store over the web. The logo on the swing arm is the one from the tank just covered in red. Here's what it might look in blue:

The wheel stripes came from Tape Works. Here's a link: http://tapeworks.com/Pages/neon.html They send you instructions with the kit. I have had mine on for about 18 months and there has not been a problem of any part coming off. |

$20 for 5 rolls is not that expensive. Try pricing a pinstriper... |
