Can't go any further on the bike until the parts and tires get in. I finally got the disk out, but not until after I abused a Grade 8 bolt. I don't know how many different hardware stores I went to looking for a replacement but nobody had one. Apparently 5/16"-24 flat head socket drive screws are not very common. Had to order it online from boltdepot.com. It's a pretty cool site actually, you don't have to order in bulk like you do from Grainger of McMaster-Carr. | ||

Planning a Fire Sprinkler Protection Business. Arizona Towns and Cities are mandating that EVERYTHING be Sprinklered including houses. That place is growing, basically, out of control. There's a lot of money to be made down there. Lots of non-Union competition, pay scale is a lot less down there than it is in the Chicago Local, but I think the amount of work would make up for it. Just planning a side trip to Cali to check it out. Have a meeting set up with the Arizona B.A (Union Rep). I guess New Mexico is also a hot spot, so to speak. It's either that, or opening a Hair Salon that Karri would be running. She's been doing for 14 years for other people. Hell, may as well be the one that benefits from all the hard work! Then I can work for someone else and take it easy!! Or I'll work for her, book the appointments and make the coffee!! But this is all just an idea for now. But, my whole family lives in Arizona, so that would be a plus for me. She loves it there too. I'm just sick of this weather. I'd rather live somewhere that I can take the bike out whenever I want. Sick of making payments on something that has to sit more than it's used! Here, ya plan something, then you have to watch the weather channel to see if it's going to rain. There you plan it..and do it! Plus, look at it this way... You guys won't have to put up with me anymore, but if you want to, come visit anytime, and I'm sure I'll have a bike you can use. and weather won't be a factor !!!! Time will tell, I guess. | ||

Sounds like a good plan either way. Every body needs sprinklers, and everybody need their hair cut, so either way ya got a good market. I've recently been to my barbers house with my grandfather (he's a bee keeper) and my barber had a prob with bees moving to his attic. Anyway, long story short... My barber must be doing really well. it is probably a $750k- $1 mil home. And that's just from cuttin guys hair. Women usually pay twice as much for a trip to the salon. He dose own the barber shop though and has two other barbers working for him. Coolice, I'm doin pretty good. Just got over a nasty cold so I'm happy. I wish I was goin dirt ridin soon but we have really soggy springs around here. I mean really soggy. I have about a mile of nice trail to call my own but half of it is currently under 8-12 inches of water, which is rare. I have never seen it flood like that before. I really want to head up to Black river falls WI for a weekend trip but the trails don't open till (I think) June. I have been thinking of planning a dirt bike trip for my vacation this year. I've been watchin alot of "Dirt Rider Adventures" on OLN for the past year or so. And have seen several other nice places on line. They all look so good, it's hard to choose. Think you'd be up for a trip like that? There is a couple of places down your way that I think I might check out this summer. Have you ever heard of the "hill and gulley" club? I saw the end of a show called "Wild chicago" and they where somewhere further down state covering a local enduro and man those trails looked nice. I have done alot of searchin on line and have come up empty handed. btw looks like you guys had a really good time at Daytona. (Thanks again to Dyna and Jose for posting all the pics and comentary) there great. | ||

Hey Wingnut I'm plannin a trip to Nevada next year. Been there 10 years now. Guided rides, and the guide gears the to the group as far as ability. Its called Nevada Motorcycle Adventure,Inc. Guide is Matt-great guy. we go for 6 days and its worht every penny! CJ have you started your bike yet? Kinda sucks if ya go to the garage with your gear on and it don't start  | ||

I rode both my R1 & the Dyna.......needed plugs in the Dyna so I snagged a couple from Racine HD the other day. Plus worked on my trailer the last couple days, just about done with it. Still need to come up with a mount for the spare tire & my gas can & then its pretty much complete. Oh yea still need to install the pole for hanging coats up in the V-nose. | ||

Lets see, at the moment, my desk has piles(literally) of paperwork, at last count 8 empty cans of dew(gotta keep the caffine intake going, since I don't drink coffee, and work 16+ hour days), backup discs, computer parts, part prints from the current 4 jobs and past 5 or 6 jobs, my laptop port replicator, a 21" monitor, my stereo, etc... So yeah, I don't even know what color my desk is any longer Yeah, I'm sure diamond plate, along with every other metal(and plastic for that matter), has skyrocketed. Thanks to China. They are buying all the raw materials they can get their hands on. | ||

Took a half hour ride after I woke up this afternoon ..been cooped up for so long first Dana sick then our son..Kayla fever this AM. It never quits!!
