Why do these bikes ship from the factory geared for trials riding?

I have an extra 29 tooth pulley hanging around.
Always willing to help out another S1 rider.
Not sure what its worth.
How about A trade ? I could use A front fender.
Or just about anything else. I`m trying to put an S1 back on the road.
