Custom Painted KBC VR-1. I bought this beauty on eBay for about $50. It was new, but had a small crack in the top vent. I repaired the crack, painted the helmet flat black and glossy on the top vents. Added mirror shield and voila: a real nasty streetfighter and good protection for a lot less than $500!

Norris, I have the flat blue Icon mainframe helmet. It cost me $230 at a local shop, so I'm sure you can find it cheaper on Ebay or internet order site. I love the helmet. Easiest helmet ever to change shields. |

Shoei X-11, period. Have had to use 2 of them now, and not a scratch or bruise. 600 bills for a helmet is steap, but well worth it! Full face only for the street, anything else and you are crazy. Bruce |

Yea, I've got an RF1000 in the Yellow 'Voltage' design. I really like it as it's pretty quiet and flows some air when it gets hot. Comfortable and sharp looking too... (The helmet that is) I"m thinking about getting another helmet when riding with a passenger(my old shoei ain't what it used to be) and I"ve seen pics of the RF1000 in the Diabolic style, it looks pretty sharp but I haven't seen one in person...
