Not a bad looking bike. I'm interested to hear what the Buellisti have to say about it. http://www.ecossemoto.com/intro1024x768.htm |

For that price it looks like you could have at least four new Buells or one that would be unbeatable in any class at Bonneville and yes I do like it but way overpriced. (Message edited by Bob_Thompson on March 25, 2005) |

"Was waaaaaaaaay cool" -- Yes! After the "cool" wears off it's a POC. A hot rod X-1 is waaaaaaaaay better. |

Still undecided. Looks like they just tacked it together. |

61" wheelbase, 30° rake. I agree with Mikeyp, it looks like a conglomeration of parts, nice parts but somehow they just don't go together well. |

"bit too busy for my taste" I disagree. It's way too busy. |

Hold the picture up higher....everytime I ride pasts on this $8,500 XB9SX I have trouble seeing it. Fortunately the $56,000 in quarters is slowing me down. It's neither a credible motorbike nor art. Court |

Wow...That makes any stock or fully modified Buell or even the Street Rod look like a real bargain. |

I already have an anti-bling-anti-chopper. |

Just a question, why is it when someone posts about a bike, everyone here puts it down and how it doesn't compare to a Buell.Other bikes are as nice as a Buell,I know ppl here don't like to hear that, but it is true. |

Any Buell is an Anti-chopper at a fraction of the price. |

Thepup, ya think it could be that this is a buell site? |

Sorry, pup, but opinions are free here. IMHO, this motorcycle doesn't put a patch on a Buell's ***. It is definitly not an "anti-chopper", it is just another "image for the rich" chopper that doesn't deliver the goods. Why should I like it? It's got nothing going for it for me. |

Never said you have to like it.I didnt' see any one say the bike was better, just posted about the bike.I guess when you are not secure in your choice of bike you have to put down any other bike.I could go by a SV650 and put the $2000 I would save and use it to improve the SV and kick a XB's rear. |

Johnnylunchbox said: "Not a bad looking bike. I'm interested to hear what the Buellisti have to say about it." I believe the original poster asked for opinions and others have stated their opinions. It is my opinion that the Ecosse is an interesting bike but I prefer a Buell M2, S1 or XB. I think for $65K I could buy a Buell (or in your case an SV), a nice tool set from Snap-On, and build a very nice garage to keep them in. Just my opinion, as requested by Mr. Lunchbox |

Thepup: If you really believe that but don't do it, have you really made a good choice? I'm not picking on ya, but I've seen lot's of good, positive remarks about other bikes here in the BWB forum. This is a very opinionated forum by any measure. Steve-O |

Scooter,I believe you will find the oppisite. Most ppl immediately put down other bikes ppl mention and then go on about how their XB is better.Like I said ppl who are not secure with their choice of bike will over compensate. |

Thepup... It's just ugly in my book, that's all. I've owned other bikes alongside my Buell, and i'm far from being the kinda guy that thinks Buell's are the beginning and end of motorcycles, so yeah, you'll get a positive response out of my mouth concerning other brands. I'm really thinking about getting a new 600. Leaning towards a CBR RR. |

Mike I didn't say everyone does it and I don't have a problem with a person not liking it.I have seen to many posts in here and how ppl react when a bike other than a Buell is mentioned on here.I can't see spending $65,000 on that bike either, but I am sure there are ppl who will |

Thepup, Man, i hear you. Just seems alot of folk here are real touchy about Buells. Nothing new.. And if i had $65k, i'd own a Viper. The hell with that ugly bike. |

The Confederate Wraith is leaps and bounds ahead of that thing in my book. Pup, Whining about other people's opinions? We don't allow that here. You are hereby banished until your ovaries cease aching so badly. Seriously. If I had the green, I'd own dozens of bikes. That Ecosse monstrosity would not be one of them; a majority of them would not be Buells, but some of them would be, S1, S2, RR1200, '97 early M2, XB12R. But, WTF do I know? |

And what is it with the pre-occupation for "evil." What a lame fantasy in which to engage. Ooooooo... my bike is "evil" oooooo. Please. If anyone who like the idea of an "evil" bike ever truly comes face to face with evil, they won't think it is a very cool descriptor of stuff any more. Like try telling my wife how she should more optimally load the dishwasher for instance. Satan incarnate I tell ya. An evil bike? No thanks. I bet it is pretty evil handling though. |

That Motorcyclsz is cool though - interesting ideas - I wonder how well they are expressed though in the bike itself. GT - JBOTDS! EZ |
