LOL I know, my buds are such great guys. You gotta love us Buell riders, we do so much for each other! Thanks for the offer Don, but hey, what if I get a 9SX and then get a Nallin kit for it, would it be faster and stronger than a 12? hmmmm This is great, thanks for the input, I love shopping on the internet! LOL |

New to this site, although I've had my S1 since 96 and have done many mods to it. Has any one put a set of Thunderstorm pistons in an earlier model? Last night I fired THE BEE up with this change, can't wait to ride it tomorrow!!!!!! |

Brad, you've understated it a bit. We had thousands of people there between noon and 2'o clock. I had to throw one guy out four times. Ended up his buddy was working the front door, and kept letting him back in. I hate working with amateurs. On the plus side, I got to hang out with some very attractive friends-who-are-girls. After bar close and clean up, Tommy took us to breakfast at Bonnie's. I got home a little after 6 a.m. I get to work tonight and tomorrow, too. I'm still tired. |

NHRA updates from Gainesville, FLA Reigning POWERade champion Andrew Hines has become the first Pro Stock Motorcycle rider in NHRA history to record a six-second pass. Hines took advantage of exceptional conditions Friday afternoon at Gainesville Raceway to zoom down the quarter-mile in 6.991 seconds at 196.16 mph, which earned him a permanent place in the history books as well as $10,000 from Mickey Thompson. |

José Wow! Sub 6 second! Only a couple of years ago many would have said that was not possible for a bike. It will be interesting to see what happenes during the rest of the season. Brad |

Bart, You can ride my 9R at Springfast. If that'd help. You've got plenty of upright oriented bikes. Add an R model to the stable is what I say... You can surprise the kids on the corner when you remove your helmet to reveal the greys LOL As far as the 12 being faster. Sure it's got more power, but I make up for it every time you have to shift early (Message edited by charlieboy6649 on March 19, 2005) |

Bart you know you can ride mine anytime and unlike Don's theory I also know we are both right about the same weight. And I am not a stick figure, I only play one on TV. |

Wycked, Maybe on Tuesday night I can take both yours and Brians for a quick spin when I first get there. I hope you get your exhaust issues resolved this weekend. |

It seems like only a few seasons ago when Terry Vance was the first to go 6.99 at 203 on his single engined 'tracy bodied' top fuel-er. Vance and Hines really know their shite. I'd rather have Byron hines watch my run and give advice than have my choice of any on board data logger. That guy can win with any brand of bike. It's simply amazing. |

Well, I picked up my Firebolt today, thanks a ton Dave! Rode it maybe a mile or so, wet roads, cold weather and new tires aren't a good mix, figured I'd best wait for things to dry out before I really go out stomping. I haven't ridden a whole lot of miles on XBs, but it's going to take a bit of time to get used to. Way different than the M2. I've a D&D exhaust to install yet tonight, pics of the bike to follow later. Alex |

I decided that my M2 needed to run a little richer, and, American Sport Bike parts in hand set about changing the slow jet and drilling the plug/ turning the idle screw. When I was wiggleing the carb to get it free from the intake manifold, I noticed that the manifold itself was moving also. Bad voodoo says Al, so I pulled it (the manifold) too to replace the seals just in case. I took a couple pictures so that newer people like me can see what everyone is talking about when they say intake seals- I know I was curious before starting this project. This is from an 01 Cyclone bought new 15 months ago with almost 7,000 miles on her.

I was in G'ville today. VRods and Buells ran well. No one ran in the 6's but there were a handful of 7.0's by all of the makes. Tomorrow's finals s/b bad. Frank (Message edited by ftd on March 19, 2005) |

Use tree view at the bottom. I think Glitch said he was going to work on the board, maybe that was it... |

Jscott, Yeah, I think a magazine called RoadRacingWorld would have a bias towards one type of racing over another. It's right on target from my perspective. |

"Use tree view at the bottom" Nope, that doesn't work, all I get on the XB Board is a totally "blank" page. Anyone know what's up ??? EE |

Hey everyone. Great site. It influenced me to decide on getting my XB9SX. There is a ton of good information I'm trying to absorb. My last bike was a ZX6R. A couple of years ago I saw a XB12R running around and I started looking more and more at them and now finally decided on the 9SX. I don't take delivery for a few more days and I can't wait. |

I've got a totally blank screen, too, but only with the XB board. The others seem to work |
