Who offers the best 15 to 20 hp kit. I have heard of a kit where the nozzle charges the air box, where can you get it and how much. And where could you put the bottle. lol thanks! |

Small bottle hidden under the air box cover would be great, no plumbing for Mr Plod to discover without dissassembling the bike... |

I have heard of a kit where the nozzle charges the air box, where can you get it and how much. That sounds like the nozzle taken from a "ZEX" filter kit. The nozzle screws into the center of the conical filter. That is a dry shot setup IIRC. TT, I was thinking a small bottle hidden through the intake scoop hole of the frame while using one of the cut airboxes and a F.A.S.T intake...with a "ZEX" nozzle |

Thanks Wycked I'll give ZEX a call and see what they offer. I may have to piece a kit together. |

ZEX may not have a kit that would work, but you should be able to just buy the nozzle. The Zex system is a plug and play for cars that use a Vacuum controller for the fuel injection to add more fuel. Cataract, if you could figure out how to ADD fuel along with the Nitrous I couldn't see any reason it couldn't handle a 15-20 shot for a quicky. (Message edited by wyckedflesh on March 13, 2005) |

i just make my own nitrous kits. running a 50 horse shot on my xb9 at the moment but you can vary it with different jets. i was going to hide the bottles under the airbox cover, but half the fun is them knowing you have it. i ran my fogger right into the velocity stack. trigger it with the horn button. i'll try and get some pics of it, just got done in time to take it to daytona so i don't have any yet. |

Hmmm... looking at City X a City X would look good with a NOS bottle visible under the airbox cover |

You could always just go over the top and hang the bottles and solenoids right out there for every one to see.....

This discussion reminds me of a story from a buddy of mine, the drummer in our band. He works for a welding supply outfit. They caught one of their delivery truck drivers "running nitrous". He had run a hose from a nitrous cylinder in the back of the truck to the cab and was taking a "snort" off the hose every so often. Man, what a moron- driving around with several thousand pounds of highly pressurized, highly flammable gas in the back of a truck and getting high while doing it. I hope none of you try "running nitrous" on your Buells like this... |

I don't even want to know what insurance would cost on a Buell running Nitrous. Yes, I know, don't tell them, but if they find it on your bike in an accident, you can kiss your coverage goodbye. |
