Sounds like all the Belle City group is home from our first ride of the year. What a ride it was! I'm sure the pics and stories will continue to entertain us til warmer riding days are here. It was FUN!!! Ya Dyna-it was the sea air causing the R-1 to ride on the back wheel alot I'm sure!! What about the sub sonic speeds tho? |

Jason why do I have this feeling that you are working on Heathers bike in secret. What the hell!!? Do you not like me anymore? I'll bring over the 9 beers left you brought over when we worked on my bike! By the way, I purchased a cable lubber kit from " Protect-All". The clutch pull is back to stock pressure. Helped out a LOT! |

It's a Kit put out by the company Protect-All. They make spray wax and a lot of products for RV's. Surprised you haven't of them being you have a big @ss one!!! Picked it up at a Motorcycle dealer. Comes with the spray and a device you clamp to the cable, insert the nozzle and spray away. Works good too! go to www.protectall.com and look under the Products page. It's on there. |

Rocco, I haven't touched Heather's bike yet. I'm thinking this weekend is going to be gasket replacement weekend (rocker boxes and primary) so if you're up for that let me know. Depending on the progress made, it might expand to carburator replacement weekend too. Soon after will be exhaust replacement/test ride night. |

Yes Jason. Karri has off all weekend also due to the fact she starts a new job next Wednesday. She took it so she has every other weekend off for riding. So if ya want to start on the bike, we'll be there. Yes, I still plan on doing the news letter. I've got something started, but NO HEADLINER!!!!!!, so I just did a crappy one with my crappy computer. I'll P.M you my e-mail address in case you don't have it. Get me the stuff ASAP so I can get it done. |

Rocco, thanks in advance for coming over and working on "my" bike To All: The Bower house is open for all of those who would like to come and hang-out, or work on the bike--if you are so inclined. There will be food, etc..Kids are welcome....BYOB Ask Jason what time he is thinking of, though...because I'm not sure!?!? |

Not sure what time. I'm thinking of getting an early start on things (maybe 1:00ish? - it's a Saturday, that's early enough) since I'm hoping to get through both rocker boxes and maybe the primary gasket. Not sure if that's too ambitious or not. We'll see I guess. By the way, just to let anyone interested in stopping by know, we do have two dogs. They're both completely harmless (read big babies), but I thought I'd give fair warning (although I think most of everyone has been to our place). |

It's a little too close to our Deal's Gap trip. I'd hate to wad up my bike just before leaving. I'm doing the NESBA day in April at RA. I may also do the NESBA day on May 14th or 15th at Blackhawk. If only I could figure out a way to keep my payraise away from the wife |

I signed up for NESBA while in Daytona. Worked out sweet because it cost $75 but I get that off my 1st track day so the membership actually cost me nothing for this year. |

Just want to post a thank you to Rocco and Karri for the help tonight (and the brownies). We got both front and rear rocker box gaskets changed out, the primary gasket fixed, the race ignition put on, and the carb swapped out. That's not a bad day at all. Thanks again. |

Wes, I (with Rocco's help) finally got the carbs swapped and the cough is completely gone. It was only in the upper 20s-low 30s out but the thing warmed up really quickly (didn't run the choke long at alll) and never gave me so much as a sputter. Runs like a champ. Thanks! |
