Are the XB brake pads Buell specific? What other brands could one use? Could I pick up replacement pads at the local Yamaha shop? What should I expect to pay? Last time I looked at new pads from Buell, they were $60 for the fronts. Is that about normal? |

The EBC's are here, they are sintered like the stock pads. You will also find the Lyndalls there, which I highly recommend. Faster pad wear, but they're easier on your rotors, and give better feel/modulation without any loss of grip from the sintereds. Al |

Al, Are the 9059HH pads the same as the FA345HH pads listed in Fullpower's post? I don't think I have time to order via the web. My trip leaves Friday morning and I'm hoping I can find something local. |

I use SBS and like them, especially on track-days, but they do wear appreciably faster than standard--what did I expect? |
