Damn thats harsh! - Not that a helmet would have done much more in that situation to help. I'm amazed he let the driver live - no southern court would convict him - I really feel for the guy - that just purely sucks. GT - JBOTDS! EZ  | ||

Makes me really wonder if I want to get my wife into motorcycles. She's been on again, off again about wanting to learn. I bought her a Blast in December and she's signed up for the Riders Edge class this summer. I'm not sure I could handle lossing her because I wanted her to ride. Looks like I'll be having another heart to heart with her about the riding thing. Be careful out there! It can be a cruel, cruel world. | ||

The story involved a couple and a friend on bikes, the guys girl friend was on a yellow Blast. A couple who had been sleeping in their truck across from the diner decide to wake up and leave at the same time the bikes where pulling out - without looking the truck driver did a U turn right in front of the departing bikers - the girl on the Blast was leading and was slamed right into - killing her. The fiance' was distraught and beat up the driver - no charges where pressed - and the driver is still up for manslaughter. That was the gist of the story. GT - JBOTDS! EZ |
