Author Message   Kevinfromwebb Posted on Thursday, March 10, 2005 - 11:17 pm:        Just a thumbs up for the TFI. I took the snorkel out and installed a K&N on my 12R a couple of weeks ago. Hmmmm, seemed to breath better with just a bit more intake noise when I was over 3K or so. Installed the TFI with the stock settings this last weekend. Really seemed to smooth everything out. Before when I was starting from a stop at about 2K or so there was just a bit of hesitation or roughness. It's gone now and I've noticed I run the bike a bit higher rpm now because of the smoothness. 2 Thumbs UP... From what I've heard here, the unit is generally made for the stock ecm but will run with the race ecm. I think that some if the first units would cause some error codes but I believe that's been worked out... Kevin
