I cannot make the meeting tomorrow, so I will need some info from everyone. I need to know exactly who will be at the event, what time & day, if you want to lead or sweep rides, handle crowd control, etc. I will also need some help gathering info after people get off the bikes. I have hired an outside company to help with the last part. Stealth, can you send a mass email to the group and have them reply to me? Or would you rather email the group list to me and I will handle it from there? I need to get this all taken care of by Monday. I want to impress everyone from Buell with this event. I want it all to go very smooth. Let me know. Thanks |

It's O.K., Joy can just forward them to me. If anyone else is sending info, it is easier to send it to me at work. Cameron@stonemountainhd.com |

Good, because NO ONE in the country has a set of the bushings in stock. I will be putting a "hard parts" order together with Paul by Friday. I want to stock most of the "sometimes not to minor" parts for you guys. I hate for any of you to have a bike down waiting for a $3 part. |

Thanks clown, I dont mind waiting for the part when I know I need it, it is when I did not know I needed it and got it apart that gets me wriled up. I think it is strange that no one has it though, these are common fork parts right, they are Showa forks that are used on other bikes correct? |

New12r, I'd bet we could find all the internal parts for the forks. All it would take is a Showa parts book, and the parts numbers for cross reference. Not sure who the supplier would be though. If Buell has ramped up production for the new models they very well could have the part "in stock" only it's marked for manufacture. I believe that's what happened to me when my stator went out. No one could believe a stator would be on an eight week back order. That was around the time the City Cross was being manufactured. I could be (of course) totally wrong. And since we're on the subject, Clown and crew made sure I was without my bike for as short a time as possible by pulling one off a new bike. Thanks Cameron. |

Boy.....I thought Jessica Beil was hot on a Buell. Now she's flying a "hollywood" Stealth fighter. My kinda woman. I'll bee out of the office today running around like a chicken with its head cut off. This week has been crazy busy. I am having my 5k done at SMHD/Buell this afternoon and they said it would be ready to make the meeting. If all goes according to plan I will be at the meeting on time or a little after 7:00. If anyone wants to stop by the dealer and hang out. I will be there twiddling my thumbs....waiting.... |

New12r, the part you need is in stock at Buell. I was going to try and find it locally to get it for you quicker. I should have our hard parts order done by today. |

Thanks, If you order the bushing just get two of them for me, I will come in friday after work and give you some cash, I will also need front brake pads as well, if they are in stock put my name on them please. The forks are back together, no leaks so far but I have not put them back on the bike, the front brake rotor has a new surface and I hope to get the new pads on and new brake fluid in with all this so the bike will be ready to rip for march badness. |

How much are front brake pads? I need a set as well. New12r, what are you up to this evening? I'm wrapped and ready to roll. The wrap has something that looked like copper or brass embedded in it. As I was wrapping I noticed my pipes were starting to look new again, back to gold. I wonder if the coating on the headers that looks so nice and gold, then turn purple with heat is the same stuff that's in the header wrap. Not real sure how I like the wrapped look, I'll give it a day or two. If I decide I don't like it after all, I'll just get on board with B_S, and do the ceramic coat, black of course. Man that stuff stinks when it gets hot! Steamed like mad! |

Rocket checking in. I finally figured my way to this part of the board. I've never used a forum like this so I have been a little slow figuring things out. I may stop by for your meeting tonight. I am really interested in being part of this chapter. |

Glitch, I am driving to the meeting, I need the new pads b-4 I can ride again. I put a non directional finish on the rotor and sanded off all the hard spots so I want new pads to seat on the new surface. The forks are sealed up, no leaks and ready to install, If you want to stop by before the meeting feel free. |

Does anybody know what I would need to put an "R" tail section on my (05'CityX) bike? I would like to buy the sharkskinz tail and paint the body work a killer color that BMW just came out with. I gotta make my bike different somehow!!! |
