Wow, no posts lately about Texas baitshop/gunshop/convience stores! Marge must really have Sam under control! p.s. make sure you guys stop by Mrs. patient wife and Mr. bad influences house for your "its a Girl" cigars. Now poor ole Marge has two kids to take care of. Nothing like a baby to give you a really big dose of responsibility. |

Hi all, Just wanted to let you guys know I have survived my first five days without sleep, food, attention,.... (slight exageration). This whole "have a baby thing" is fantastic, Remind me to slap Marjorie for this brilliance, unbelievable how quick you bond with the miserable little boogers though. Every one is doing well, Mommy is recovering a little slower than expected....Her mouth was unaffected and has seemingly thrived in the environment that vanquished all her positive traits. There is literally nowhere to hide, in the whole of the house, from the petty requests and sincere admonishments with which she has blessed me with at full volume over the last five days, four hours and six minutes..... Richie, boy are you right about the responsibility aspect of what having a child does to you. My riding will be seriously restricted, at least until I can get that carseat duct taped to the handlebars...duct tape is rated to 100MPH correct? Maybe I should start with the little Honda. Regicide, I think mine's already leaning that way, She likes the breast at least as much as I do, if not more....Thank God Mom has two. I can't imagine the fights we would be having if there was only one.....or worse yet who mom would declare the victor. As you can see my sense of humor has returned, and as so Margie finds me repulsive again, I think they go hand in hand (uncooth and repulse). Dennis, We didn't get home from the Hospital 'til about 1:30 Sat. I was posting from my brother's T-mobile sidekick. Sorry we missed you. I shouldn't have to tell you again, that the two beers you put in my fridge ran out 49 beers ago... As for waking up a baby, anytime buddy, we are assimilating the child rather quickly to the vagaries of auditory stimulation, to better prepare her for the normal state of affairs at the house.....And every minute she is awakened during the day is hopefully a minute more of sleep she will require while daddy is trying to sleep. slap may be a misnomer. That being said I have learned a great deal from this experience....I wouldn't have believed beforehand how quickly laundry, dishes, and beer cans can pile up due to Margie's infirmity, admittedly the beer cans are my fault. We also have a device called a vacuum, I am supposed to know what it looks like, I have as yet not been able to determine which drawer she keeps it in or what she might wish to use it for. I have an item in the garage that is similarly identified but is only used to bleed brakes I wonder what hers bleeds. I don't know how much longer I can (be allowed to) go before I will have to ask..... The cats are thinning along with Daddy, we've all not eaten in days(exclusive of the lactate hog) Please do not be overly concerned with this statement as the cats are really no match for me....but the kitty chow is almost gone and then it gets ugly. Thanks for the cigars Keith. It is the only thing I am allowed out of the house for....demanded of me, really. It's amazing with all the traffic, birds, neighbors dogs, air traffic, sirens, etc. etc. how serenely quiet it is outside comparatively. You guys have fun I'll leave you with a quic pic of my competition for the breast meat.... I won't bother with telling you who's winning. hahaha

Sam, she's a real cutie. Guys we should maybe have a wake for Sam's former life. It would give everyone a chance to pay their respects, and for Sam, a chance to properly mourn for a life that once was, but is now dead and gone. Sam do you have the Mini Van yet? Lets start with a few things that Sam will not be doing again anytime soon! I think Margie ruled out allowing these three together along time ago. Nothing good can happen when they get together! there will be less trips of this nature in Sam's future! something we will never see in Sams house again.} |

I am confused. Cycle World had a huge article on Buells at Daytona this year. Now I am hearing there aren't going to be any? What is going on? |

DaveS, Justin is making some pretty neat stuff isn't he. I personally favor the brass knuckles version of the timing cover. If I still had a lightning I might be interested. Tell Penny and the dogs our family says hello. Remember to post up in here if you have anymore sportbike days....Ther are some "just crazy enough" to make it. hahaha Larry, Try Midwest motorsports on State Ave, just north of I-70 a little west of 55th street(913) 334-0477. It's a roundy round store they'll have that on the shelf. Richie and Drake.....Yep NO BUELLS, one team is out with a recurring exhaust stud breakage problem, the other team mangled a rider in practice. you can read about it elsewhere on this board. |

Okay you pansies, I laid out the route for the Chilhowee Snake Run. It'll be a light day. 269 miles and 5.5 hours in the saddle. I'm sure you boys and girls can handle it. Bring full gas tanks, full bellies, and empty bladders to the party. On this run, the strongest bladder rules and that's mine. Heh heh heh heh heh It'll be fun for those that like a steady diet of curvy roads and greasy food (qualified for the terrain I have to work with in one day). See you there! Charles |

I got my X1W back together and rode it down to the BP station and filled it up with the 92 octane. I still need to finish my exhaust, stock one has a broken front mount, and I am going to just build a 2 1/2" tube to get me by for awhile. The bike ran pretty good with an open header, nice sound, but dang loud for sure, that was a fun little jaunt to the gas station though. Looking forward to riding season again. |
