I found a slightly better pic of Buellish's S2-T tail section decal. I know I will be able to get a much better pic in about a month when we are scheduled for a nice, nearly week of riding at T.W.O. 1313 |

Need a little help with my front turn signals. I am attempting to remove them so that I can remove my fairing. When I try to loosen the nut, it seems that the shaft is rotating inside the extension. Any tips or tricks? Thanks, EG |

I don't know of any particular "trick", but lots of stripped fasteners have (mostly ) tought me a bit of patience: I now drip some Liquid Wrench or similar "loosening" fluid on the threads/fastener and let it sit for awhile. It often helps. AFAIR there is not much of the threaded stud showing, otherwise, you might be able to use a vise grip or similar, padded with rag to hold onto the stud. Don't get too enthusiastic though, or you'll bugger up the threads (don't ask). Let's know how it works out. |

Erik, The the only thing you can do is pull the boot back and stop the internal nut from rotating. The base of the mirror is plastic. the nut is hot glued into a "nut" recess in the base. It doesn't hold too well.... I had to do this on my S2, a real pain.. If you need, I can post pictures tomorrow of my old mirror. Brad |

we still need to get the S-2's together somewhere....maybe even a patch made and a directory of owners. The ducati hailwood version group has a great website and lists all of the people who own them......or at least they are building up the list....would be cool.. REX |

My S2 has been pissing me off lately but I still love it! We definatley need to do a BWB S2 Club patch, pin or sticker. Rex, you going to the home coming? It sounds like the S2's will be very well represented. Brad |
