Warranty until August Kobe. I am going to ride it a few more days and see if the "banging" gets worse. When its cold its not there but once it warms up, she's a banging around. I just know if I take it in right now, I will get "That's how they all sound". But I know my bike, I know all the sounds it makes and what to expect, this is a new one. Using the screwdriver stethescope its coming from the bottom end, either camchest or crank itself. "Ride her til she BANGS!" | ||

Mikel - I got the package. Thanks. I'll get back to you as soon as I get it installed and the TPS reset. I'll let you know how it goes, and then I'll contact the other party to work all the details out. Just to let you all know... I also got a nine ECM in the mail today and I'll be having that set for my bike as well... For the most part I'm going for the lower fuel curve so I can tune my Force pipe properly. It's still fat from 2K-3K and I can't take fuel out with the TFI. | ||

Has anyone here tried a syphon pump or a vacuum pump to do oil changes with? My thought is pulling the oil out, then draining the remainder (there always seems to be a little that the hose can't get to). There shouldn't be much. A very clean way to do a change. I would like some input. I used to use one to do changes on my boat. I worked quite well. Unfortunatly I gave the pump away when I sold the boat. | ||

Nah...home with the wife and kiddos in Tucson. I'm planning on riding up for my work week though. We all need to get together sometime during the week. The weather may be iffy on Monday (figures, the magnet WILL bring rain!) but the rest of the week is supposed to be great! You noticed the nice black clouds above my new place, eh Carey? where is this Fuel located? Wycked mentioned around the 32nd st and Bell area, is this right? I went cruizin around the area, and all I say was a pub in that area. Hey, I'll be in the Phoenix area July 9th thru the 18th visiting my family which is scattered around the Cave Creek, Anthem, Scottsdale, Fountain Hills, North Phoenix, Desert Ridge area. Anyone wanna let me borrow their bike!?  Joking aside, I'd like to meet some of you if you have the chance. Dinner or lunch or something. I'm seriously considering moving there, but the trade I'm in doesn't pay squat as compared to the Chicago area. Getting sick of this crap weather. I won't be watching any nascar... I can't stand that stuff. Well, Bristol and the road courses are alright I suppose... I'm more of a road racing fan. I'll be watching the Daytona and the rest of the AMA. Then F1 next weekend . ALMS and Grand Am too . I love racing season. | ||

heeelllllppppppp my speedo stopped working yesterday goin through gates pass. i heard from ben (ilikehotchicks) that you can clean the sensor.. is this true?? if so is it the black thing on the right side of the motor? Drop, There's a chance that cleaning will help, but usually you're SOL. I've gone through two of em. It's on the right side rear case where the tranny is. It's got a single black wire running to it and a single fastener. Giver her a try. Worth a shot. In the end, I think you're out $50 to replace it...not bad. So, nobody's going out St. Patricks???
