Hello to all Buellers. This is a great site for Buell information. Thanks for sharing. I own a 2000 Buell Cyclone that I purchased last September, prior to that I was riding a 2001 Sportster. I live just north of Vacaville Ca. |

Thanks for the welcome Cali_rider. I guess I will have to register here so I can add my 2 cents worth sometime. I hope to get some riding in this weekend since there is not supposed to be any rain. |

Hi Guys & Gals, I've been enjoying this site since acquiring my new '03 XB9S. One recent anomally is irritating me, the trip meter & clock reset to 0 & 1:00 when starting. It appears that the voltage drop at the instrument cluster when trying to crank over TDC on the compression stroke is just past the threshold required to keep alive the instrument memory. It's almost as if the engine hasn't got enough spin speed up before the first piston gets to the compression stroke & the spark advance is a bit early. I find myself having to start the engine & reset the clock before riding off most days. The odometer is unaffected but if the fuel light is ON, that distance measurement also drops out. Is there a fix? My battery seems fine. |

>>> One recent anomally is irritating me, the trip meter & clock reset to 0 & 1:00 when starting. That's unright. E-mail me details with bike model and year and let's see what's up with that. Welcome to Badweb. Court |

Hey ZRG aka Hacksaw, The official unofficial welcome, currently in New Zealand, awesome roads, very few bikes?! And the weather is great. Visited the local HD/Buell dealer yesterday, good inventory, ran into a group of 10 Germans that all rented BMW's and have toured both the North and South Islands, definately on my to do (dream) list. Hacksaw, we'll see you on the roads of Norcal! Cali_Rider out |

Thanks Cali_rider. You sure seem to travel a lot. Here I set in Fairfield at work with a predicted temp today of 80 degrees, and lots of sunshine. Oh well. I hope to get some hours riding this weekend, but it is spring, and lots of chores to do. |

Hey everybody. Thought I'd drop in & say wassup. Just got my first bike in about 13 years or so. Got a Buell XB9R of course. My younger Sis and Bro-in-law hipped me to this site. Looks like it will be invaluable as a source of info and advice. Way cool. Anyway I'm out in the (909) area of Cali. and there are lots of rice rockets and full dress hogs out here, but not a lot of Buells. Looking for some locals to ride with. I'll post my e-mail with this post, so feel free to hit me up. L8R. Mark e-mail velocityboy@sbcglobal.net (Message edited by bbstacker on March 11, 2005) |

Hello from Canada! I just received my new XB9SX 2 days ago. I really like that bike, so fun to ride. I was looking for a good Buell forum and this one is looking very good. I also have a 2001 Yamaha FZ1. Two completely different bikes but 2 interesting bikes. |

Hello, my name is CPT Brook Bedell. I fly helicopters and airplanes for the Army here in Fort Huachuca, Arizona, with a follow on assignment to Fort Hood, Texas. I ride a '99 Lightening X1 that I got while stationed in Germany and love to ride! I am looking to start a thread on this site dedicated to announcing great rides in each state that will describe the route, distance, and what time of the year is the best time to go. Hopefully, I will see you guys out there! |

April: I am riding, yes a motorbike, to the factory. It knows it's way home after all the runs to and from the back door of 2799 and NYC. Find out from Laurie what day the "2 meter Blast toss event" is being held. Since the first one, it's been my personal favorite event! By the way, I was bragging about you at dinner tonight. Remind me to tell you the story next time we meet. Court |

Excellent Buell site. Enjoyed looking through it. You guys seem to really understand and love Buells. I own a 1999 M2 Cyclone and a 2003 XB9R Firebolt. I've been to TWO, rode the Cherohala Sky Way/Deal's Gap X2, 2002 Thrills in the Hills, and have one track day under my belt. I'll be at TWO the 22-24 April. Any chance seeing any of you there? |

Just bought a 00 X1 today. It is what I would call purple with a white racing stripe, purple rims etc. Is that stock? I have owned 3 HD's over the years and tried to make the Sporty and the FXR run and handle like a Buell. I have had about 5 other bikes but I have been lusting over the Buell since they first hit the street. I originally wanted an M2 but I got the X1 for a good deal. Looking forward to learning this bike. Anyone want to buy and 86 FXR, or a 93 KZ1000P? |
