Under the category of Duh! Tonight after work while I was waiting in line at Osco to pick up a prescription. Someone called me to tell me about a job that Sharon might qualify to apply. Between a TERRIBLE cellular connection, me feeling like crap from a chest cold I am trying to keep from rolling over to my second bout with pneumonia, and a sales clerk who said I was next... I have NO CLUE who called. I apologize for sounding grumpy and frustrated because I felt like crap, and was further frustrated with the crappy cellular connection. AND before I could say much the clerk was wanting information from me to pick up my prescription. SO to who ever it was... I am very sorry I had to cut the call short, beside not being able to hear the call well, I was really wanting to get out of there to get home and lay down before I fell down. Please recontact me or email me at DASDUSM@aol.com or dasbuell@aol.com or Sharon at twoiggysmom@aol.com We really need all job leads... and I am sorry the call was messed up in SOOOOO many ways!!! |

Any KCMobbers own a Buell Blast? I was on a different message board tonight and a woman was asking what would be a good starter bike (something a shorter woman could fit on, doesn't want a cruiser), I told her to look at the Buell Blast. Then someone said Blasts have had so many problems that owners have brought lawsuits against Buell about it. I did a google and yahoo search, found nothing of the sort...just want to make sure, am I missing something here? It sounds like this is a case of typical harley/buell bashing from people who don't know any better and someone reading one or two well publicized (sp?) stories on the internet (and it's on the internet so it must be true right...even if they provide no documentation what so ever}. The Blast is a great starter bike, alot of bike schools use them and they fit shorter people great. When Tina took her class they had them and she is 5'3" and she said it was realy easy to ride and realy liked the bike. |

Paul:The tube frame models do have storage space to carry some rope to help pull the XB's on the straight aways. |

re: Keef vs. Paul I've only ridden a twelve once(thanks DaveS)..... that being said, I think when the betting starts I'll want to throw some nickels in the pot. (I'll exclude my bike of course) re: baby Pictures soon, first I have to re train myself....she's going to have a complex if I don't quit calling her "son","him","his" "he's"...however, with the wife's help I've actually started spitting out more "its" ......"she" is just too much all at once...it's going to take some time.....will keep you posted. thanks again |

Paul, I contacted them and ordered a couple of yards. $13.99 a yard, which I thought beat the heck out of $91.00 for a 10 yard roll. Thanks! Okay some trash talking going on here about the tuber's and the XB's LOL I read on the internet that the tuber's are faster in a straight. Straight off a cliff that is...They weigh more so that whole gravity thing you know 32m/sec^2 acceleration stuff from physics class...anyway I read it on the internet so it has to be true! Looks like it's time to take em' to the drag strip. |

Yes... I have a Blast... No it is not for sale... yet. I am hoping it does not come to that! I know of no law suits. Good and fun little bike. They make a "low" seat for those who have abbreviated legs. |

No... The BMW IS NOT for sale. It's all funny now that Tripper has a job!!! LOL MOBBERS... I got this from Roger Fleener at the dealership. Next Saturday, March 12th,, is our first event here and we need two people to help Leann and Kelly with the cooking. It would be from 10:30 AM until 1:30 PM. Those who volunteer will receive 100 loyalty points and a gift certificate. I also need eight people for the Grand Opening on April 2nd to help cook and supervise the 'Moon Walk'. The same compensation is for this event as well. First reply gets a shot. Send your name and phone number if you can help. Call Roger at Gail's if you can help!!! |

I didnt know you had to go to the drag strip to see which bike is faster, hhmmmmmmmmmmm very interesting.Faster in curves, faster in the srtaight, and faster in the quarter are all different.I think roll on acceleration is easier on my bike that quarter mile gutting. No trash talk here about the XB's vs. tubers,I have an old 2000 that will hold it own,on roll on acceleration against any XB's the mobb has.The tubers are heavier, but so are some of the riders on the XB's.Sam,be sure to have plenty of nickles, and include your bike also.......if you get your mapping all worked out,it should really haul, its all in fun anyway. |

Thansesxb9rs... I see no reason why that would be an issue. You will be demo riding, and if it falls in that program time span, I will raise hell if someone says not! But I do not anticipate any issues. EVERYONE... Be sure and tell EVERYBODY about this, other clubs, buddies on jap bikes... etc. I hope to see a HUGE turn out! |

Sam, Hows the Family?????? Keep us in check man, I know your busy with the diapers an all, but come on!!! Hey Dennis, Looks as though the concrete work in front of the Gails front doors is done. I kinda have a favor of the guy loaning us the arial device to shoot the photo's. He is wondering if he could get some free advertising of some sort for trade on the boom lift on this site or in our news letters to the club to help cover the cost of reason?? If not lets discuss. I have another plan!!! Loren, When you get your vynil let me know if you need it cut, my friend has the computer to shape cut or pin stripe any way you like, and he's real reasonable!! (almost free). Also he can print any picture or lettering on it in any color!! It's a cool deal, I just like to watch. (the printer Sam, get your mind straight). Also, anyone reading this, graphics on the bikes are cool! I got a good connection to a guy making top quality vynil decals for ANY THING you need at very low prices, and he lives like ten blocks from Sams house in shawnee. Even if you just have a crazy idea, he will help you develop it in fast time!! |

Paul... We can "explore" options and ideas on the boom at the next meeting. We need to come up with a date that is good for everyone, and do what we can to help those that help us. We'll talk at or after the meeting. I think it will make a cool photo!!! I went by Sam's this past Saturday... No van, so I figured they were not home... or at a soccer game. Oh wait... the soccer game Saturday thing won't be for a coupla more years!!! I am less comfortable just showing up and knocking on the door. I don't want to wake up a baby and have the wrath of both mom & dad for doing so by ringing a door bell, or reving up a factory race kit! I am afraid of Mrs. Sam!!! If she can keep Sam in check, she has to be one skilled individual. Dealing with a sick old man would be nothing!!!
