John won't be coming up with me. He's going on a ski trip in Wacko Land (California). I may bring someone else but not sure yet....... |

Hey, does this thing go rain or shine? I'm not averse to riding my bike in the rain, but I'm not so sure about trying a bike that has twice as much horsepower as I'm used to in the rain... And the forecast is not looking too great: http://www.weather.com/activities/driving/interstate/weather/weekend.html?locid= USGA0541 Thanks. |

Is there any kind of schedule/agenda for this event? Anything outside of show up at T.W.O., hopefully meet Eric, and test ride a few bikes? Any group rides planned after the test rides? I'm figuring on rolling into Dahlonega late Friday and leaving first thing Monday. |

Liability will not allow demo's in the rain. However I am still hoping for decent weather. I will be up there no matter what the weather. If the weather sucks, I'll just spend the weekend in the mountains will old friends and make some new friends. Either way it's a Win-Win situation. |

Hey guys, got back around 7:00 pm monday night. No major problems. Fuel injection light kept coming on but never affected performance.(will tear down and check everything this weekend). I want to express my gratitude to each and everyone of you that helped me out. Yes I got excited and forgot the cardinal rules in corner taking. You could have simply walked away and said it wasn't your problem, and I would have understood (had I been at a DIFFERENT type gathering Iam sure it would have been just that). BUT you didn't and that says something for your character. I have never felt so stupid, helpless, embarassed, and proud to have been put in a sitiuation as such. I can't remember everyone's name that helped, there were way to many for me to try to remember. If you don't mind posting your name, it would help me alot before I go on the quick board. Cameron and SMHD- I am completely speechless. I still cannot fathom what you and your company done for me. There are no dealers of your caliber within a five hour drive of me. Pete says that when he is ready to buy his first Buell, he is flying over and buying from you. You not only impacted my life, but many others as well. As I am still tired and a little sore, I still have to go back to school in about twenty min., this one will be short, but by no way the end. Thank you. PS-We turned some tools in because we could not find the owners. Craftsman: Vice-Grips,Adjustable wrench, and a very sharp pry bar. |

Glad you made it back safely and glad I could help. I know first hand what it is like to be stuck with a bike problem a long way from home. I'm glad you are OK and it makes for a good story. I can't wait to see the pics of the shade tree mechanics. See ya on the road. |

Sorry we haven't been keeping up with this thread for all you non-3%ers. We have just been talking about it off and on in the everyday section. March Badness III: April 1st & 2nd @ TWO in Suches Ga. Some of us will be headed up there on March 31st, so we can still call it March Badness. You can visit www.twowheelsonly.com for further details. There will be camping available but all the cabin space is reserved for 3%ers and SMHD/Buell Staff. Hope some BadWebbers can make it out to put more faces with the names. Be watching Glitch's counter in our everyday posts -Will |
