Hey Paul, I was thinking about doing the school but it might be a bad weekend for me. I will be gone all April long in thailand. If I can get the home front in order before then I will go. We need to get together so I can look up close at your air filter. I like what you did better than my swiss cheese lookin' thing. |

First CMRA race of the season at Oak Hill Raceway on Sunday, Sunday, Sunday... My bike won't be ready. My priorities are all screwed up. It's only about 130 miles from Dallas to OHR. And I kin plot you a nice route too. Big bike races start around noontime after the lunch break. |

Do it, Blake! Hook yer bruthas up! Which direction is Oak Hill, in general terms? It looks as though the weather is moving from WSW to ENE and may be more clear the farther west we go...??? Meet us in Dallas and you can drive my "chase vehicle." |

GREAT weather today! Put on about 200 miles, mostly N & NW of Dallas. Not great, curvy roads, but lots of places to test out the new mods! |

Yea Chris. Sorry I missed ya'll today. I left out at 7a.m. Got 350 miles under me today. Mainly in Southern Oklahoma. I ended up riding with some buddies of mine on their geezer glides. They had fun playing catch up all day. |

OK - here we go... Finished the airbox mods Saturday (desnorkled/cut snorkle, removed airbox lid ala Cowtown) - I hear a lot of heavy breathing now, especially above 3000 rpm. The D&D has freakin' unbelievable sound, really resonates - very percussive and deep - my face hurts from grinning so much! My butt dyno sez it pulls MUCH harder from 4000 up. It's suddenly way too easy to pull the front wheel off the ground at 1-2 upshift - in fact, I now have to consciously lean forward on hard acceleration to keep the front tire down through 3rd gear. Dago, I absolutely want to dyno it with yours! What's everyone doing next weekend? Advance weather forecast looks great! |

Yeah, I too want to do the dyno run. Mine's running very nicely right now. So it'll be very interesting for me to see the same day results. Believe me, I want you to smoke me. If you do, we'll soon see what the D&D with powder coated headers will do. I did 275 miles today, all south of here. I ran up on another blue xb9r near Cresson. After catching up with him, he seemed a bit put off by my attempt to introduce myself. I gave him my card, told him about badweather, and took off. |

Sounds like everyone headed in different directions Sunday. I was racing on Eagle Mountain Lake, beautiful sailing day. I also found out that I will be heading to Houston Friday, March 18th, for a yacht race that weekend, so I wont be able to do the track day at the Motorsport Ranch. |

Off Topic.... I got a job in Dallas, near 75 and Forest Ln. I'll be moving there from Lubbock in May. If anyone has any recommendations on where to buy a house, PM me. The bright side: at least now I'll be able to ride with you guys a little more often! Jared |

Congrats, Jared! Look in far north Richardson or Garland, far east Plano, Murphy (where I live), Sachse, and/or Wiley - very nice areas; they're still growing so $$$ is not bad at all - new or not. Writing from Phoenix, Chris |

Jared, 30 Miles in any direction. Have you forgotten the T-shirts the waitresses at The Railhead wore, "Life's to short to live in Dallas". |

Hey Jared there are 4 houses for sale in my neighborhood alone. Its amazing I put my D&D back on and all my neighbors houses go on the selling block. |

Haha. I should do some test rides through any neighborhood before I make an offer, maybe they'll drop the asking price! |

I'd recommend getting a 6-12 month lease on an appt in the area before stepping up to the plate to buy a house. Take some time to explore. Just like anywhere else, every neighborhood has its own character. And there's no way you can ensure a good fit by just showing up and buying a house. Your price range and architectural style will dictate a great deal as well. |

Well fellas, just got back from the local Buell store and ran into another Buell rider. I love spreading the good cheer about this websight. We really need to revive our BRAG chapter. There are probably, dare I guess 50 to 100, Buell riders we don't even know. Maybe my estimates are off because I see them all the time only living 1 mile from the dealership. Everyone of them seems so surprised that there are other Buell riders other than them. |

Hey Jonnyblaster, welcome to the madness. Its good to see you took the plunge. About this weekend, I'll be at the base all weekend but if y'all find you want a night cap after a hard days ride I'm up for a beer. I had to order my rear caliper today. I stripped the @$^# thing putting the rear tire back on. It's still ridable but I don't want to push it. Call me if ya'll are up for a beer. 940 595-0263 |

YES!!!!! Now we just need to get the word out to all of those jackass cagers who'll do their best to run you over while doing that. Perhaps a phone call to the major TV stations around the state is in order. The alternative would be to wait until someone gets smeared to get this new law some press. I can't think of anyone I'd like to see as the guinea pig Thoughts? |

Weirdly, lane-splitting has come up in my day to day conversations a lot recently. Is it just me, or is the traffic here a lot worse now than I remembered it being? More pacers and rubber-neckers than ever! |

Boy I hope this goes through. I have to deal with 35E every day. My afternoon commute takes 45 minutes in my car. I ONLY LIVE 9 MILES FROM WORK!!!!!! Jonny the population swing in Denton county is unreal. 6 years ago Corinth had a population of 2500. Now we have 15000. Same with Roanoke. I dont know were these people come from. I hope this law passes. I got a ticket for this 15 years ago so I havn't done it much since. |
