(right click and properties will show where they can be found, I have no idea what's also on the pages though. Sure feels like "ice out" is about to break the rivers free and spring is hopefully due soon, me and a few others need a good ride about now, visor up, clear the nasal cavity with the nose flaps flapping in the breeze kind of good ride, cool air, good clear road, wind puffing up your jacket back kind of ride. Damn, time for a change, of weather, and other stuff.) Have a good day, regardless of how it goes. |

So, how about those Dodgers? Do you think there will be an NHL hockey season next year? Will Brett Favre retire this year or next? Will Lance Armstrong win another Tour de France? And do you think the rumors are true of Buell introducing two new models this year, and if so will they truly be new models or just modifications to existing models? These questions and more may be discussed and cussed as Winter turns to Spring and as Spring turns to Summer. Life goes on. (Think I'll go trigger the web filters here and look for Daytona and Sturgis bike pics...) |

Sounds good. Down there Springtime was a great time to ride. When it was still a little soupy up in the foothills I used to head down the hill and wander the backroads of the valley. Never knew where I was, but ended up at home at the end of the day. |

"by the way Ford GT will do some major whip a$$ on Porche anyday." LOL... Which Porsche? 911 Whale tale? 917? 911 T4? 959? Whatever dude. Don't get me wrong, I'm a Ford fan above all the others, but that statement is a bit over the top... |

I am sure I can figure out the parts in a kit, I will have to dig back into my archives though. If you are patient, I can get it done. Pammy <= Overworked and underpaid... |

Hey Don.. As I understand it, the GT was conceived as a Ferrari hunter, so it will make short work of the majority of stock Porsches as well as just about every other 'sports car' on the market. If I remember (and I may be faulty on this, so please don't think I'm trying to 'quote gospel' here) didn't Car & Driver do a comparo of the truly high end rocketships and find that the Ford GT was pretty much the new king of the hill (in stock form of course). Then again, for the six-digit purchase price, you better be getting more then just the looks. In essence, Bill is completely accurate in his assertion of Ford GT(40) dominance.. Not like any of us will be able to afford the cost of riding in one.. By the way, how much to you think insurance on one of those puppies would run? Later, |

Apologies if this is old news, but there is one interesting Buell based Supermoto in the Feb 23 issue of Cycle News. Some nice detail pictures are included with the article. How many of us have dreamed of our own Buell Supermoto? This one really looks well thought out. Article claims, "Rumor is that even Erik Buell has inquired about the bike himself." Of course it's a Ferrari hunter. Ford hunts Ferrari, Ferrari hunts Ford. That's the way the motorsports world works. It all started when Enzo put the company up for sale, but refused to sell it to Ford. Granted, Ford has been taking a break for the last few years but I'm pretty sure they're back in it. You can actually buy a white body Mustang again. In any case, The GT eeks out slightly better lap times than a 360 Modena... NO MATCH WHAT-SO-EVER for an F-40 or F-50. Probably about on par with a 550/575 Maranello though. I assure you, they are ALL bad cars, and none of them would put a serious hurtin' on any of the others. Once you get to cars like that, it's all about the driver. Just like bikes. |

On another note, Just got an email from one of my 3 nephews in Iraq, they should be stepping onto the C-130 within 2 days and headed to Kuwait, then home. Man are they're going to have a freaking homecoming that I never had, I'll make sure of that! -SD: |

It's so satisfying when you put all that effort out assembling a bike and when you hit the starter button it fires right up.Wonders never cease,no leaks(fingers crossed)no weird noises and it sounds good.Went for a short ride and it runs/rides/shifts sweet.Only been since july fer petes sake!!!Course, then it started to rain---

Hello everyone, Ive been a Lurker on here for a while, and I feel a little embarrassed that my first post is for some help, but here goes. I would really appreciate your help with a little contest Ive entered. It would be nice if a Buell put in a good show against all the Harleys. http://vtwinplus.com/Jan2005/maxamcontestmarch05.htm I promise that if I win the sunglasses I will set up a rota so that everyone who voted gets them for a day!!! Thanks Lev |

FMJ, the front end is drop dead gorgeous! 5-Spoke Marchesini's with dual 6 piston Brembo's and full floating rotors ala Ducati? SBK swap? Sourced? Custom for the S2? Stock PM caliper with new rotor single sided? How about a shot of the other side?!! Did the weight factor change in your favor? Noticeably improved turn-in? Very nice anyway it is. |

6 piston ISR set-up from Cap,bolt on kit,no spacers.Uses S-2 m/c from dual disc set-up(HD).Haven't noticed any real difference.Looking for a back to match as the one I bought turned out to be a 16.5--try to find a street tire to fit that size!!Gave it to Terry Parsley for the race bike at Vallejo. |

"The spirit of innovation" Not sure where to put this link, maybe a sub-section of news and history or something like that. In any case it makes for some nice reading. And if you pay attention you may catch note of something in it about dates and stuff. You just never know where news will appear sometimes. Metal molding boosts Buell's Firebolt |

Hi badweb, it's been a while... I am moving to NY and need to ship my Buell, so far Daily Direct motorcycle transportation gave me the best price quote, and I am wondering if anyone has heard anything about them or used them and what their experience with them was like. Thanks... Ray |
