Ski - Thanks for the heads up... I contacted Mobil-1 and they are going to send me some stickers. Unfortunately... Metzeler requires that I send them a stamped/self addressed envelope TO GERMANY! I really want some Metzeler stickers though... I'll be going for Ferodo as well. I've been trying to work out exactly how to do a "Gulf GT-40" paint job on my 12, so I may go for some old Gulf stickers as well... | ||

Charlie, If you want to call it welding then yes.....LOL I've been teaching myself how to do it. So far the welds have held my fat azz up and haven't broken. Thats a pretty cool ideal with the pipe. This may be of some interest. Speedworld is having an all bike weekend in April Apr 9-10th Sat-Sun TBA Night of Thunder; All Bike event- Drags, Motocross, Motard, Oval Track and more! Could be fun. I went to the bike event last year. Lots of Buell's running some fast times. | ||

No riding for me this weekend, I have less then a dime thickness on one of my front brake pads, new ones will be in Monday/Tuesday, so I have just enough to get to work and home Monday and Tuesday. | ||

Got a call from the realtor today...I'll be a Phoenician in April! The couple accepted our offer and I'm scheduled to close the beginning of April...just in time for Springfast. I'm moving to Glendale (around 75th and Union Hills), just around the corner from Arrowhead HD. The family won't be moving up til after school gets out, but I may camp out in the thing on the weeks I come up for work! More to come.....  | ||

Warp2, I'll have to pass on the Sunday ride. Took the dirt bike out for a couple of hours today and the left hand is going numb again (Carpal tunnel?). Looks like I might have to see if I need surgery on it pretty soon. What a bummer. | ||

Wycked, I know I know. I really have been that busy lately. Air Show this weekend. That would be great if you could stop by/drop of the goods on your way to Cali. Maybe I can get Eliz talked into the trip. Of course, it will depend on my days off too. Brian, Congrats on the move! Now when we head out from Yuma I can see all the Buellers. Looks like I'm not the only one getting a house huh... I stopped by ours today and the forms are up. We'll have a slab this week! We are scheduled to close on June 24. Party to follow! | ||

April 22-24th Ski, and I may be close the the "Ride It til it Seizes" aspect of your quote. Got into work lastnight with a heavy knocking coming from the motor. Wasn't there when I left for work, was still there at the end of my shift when I limped it home, but its not there this morning yet... | ||

Ski, What would I do without my wingman! Glad you can make it! All, The ride Sunday was an excercise in patience. EVERYONE and their sisters cousins friends were out enjoying the nice weather. Made for a slow ride in the canyon. |
