in your riding/balance when there is a full moon?? Some friends and I have been having this discussion over the last several months and it has come to our attention that it just doesn't "feel right" the day before a full moon, the day of and the day after. I had 2 friends who rode Tuesday, the day before the full moon and they both said things just didn't "feel right" and actually cut their ride short and went home. Another friend of mine who rode Tues agreed that things just kinda felt "off". Anyone else pay enough attention to this to notice a difference? |

I love riding at night on the full moons, especially when its a clear sky and the moon acts like a mini sun making it bright enough to see but still enjoy the dance of my headlight on the roadway...but then I have been accused of being a Vampire... |

Yeah I like to ride then too. This is a discussion I have been having over the last several months with friends and it's getting kind of interesting to hear what people have to say about it all. I had a friend that commented how she has had a couple friends go down on or right near a full moon and she doesn't ride at all on a full moon. It all got me wondering if other people even notice a difference. |

Not in my riding, but other folks driving. I do notice an increase in thoughtlessness & ego driven/emotional driving during full moons. |

But are they "night people" or "day people"? Are they the type that are barely functional in the morning, prefer to work late shift and such, or are they the up at the crack of dawn, drifting to sleep in the early evening type? |

I am more of a morning person but no matter what time of day my balance tends to be less precise in the dark since I have no reference points by sight. Usually I use sight to determine if I am moving in a given direction in order to make corrections. On the bike my "balance" isn't much worse but riding is a little more difficult since I can't see as far I might during the day...the potential for a hazard to occur without seeing it as far in advance as normally makes me more cautious. Personally I feel my sleep (or lack of it) affects my balance and riding more than anything else. |

My palms get hairy during full moons making it difficult to hold the grips. I also have the urge to stop and tinkle on all fire hydrants. |

Nothing better that riding during a full moon over a bridge and watching how it lights up the rivers and lakes. Sometime living in Florida isn't so bad. |

I could not balance worth a crap the day before, during and after the full moon. I tried but Like said above, It just does not feel right. Much of my life has not felt right during that period as well and I do believe that there is impact on us as humans from shifts in the stars and so on. |

I don't notice a difference between full or not-full moon. I guess it's because I'm not superstitious, or maybe because I sacrifice small screech owls to the moon gods on those days that require it. |

One of my ex's was a nurse who worked in the e-room, she would describe the craziest things after working a full moon shift, not quite as crazy as riding around with a traffic cone up your a-- but wild stories none the less. |

Funny you should ask this question.....I have always liked full moons and felt energized rather than off by them. I like being up and active at night when the moon is full....I'm not kidding. |
