Now that I’m a BRAG officer I was wondering how Buell riders generally like to ride their bikes. Maybe you guys can give me a little insight. So here’s my survey statement: Please order the following list of riding types by what you like to do best. Start with your favorite and end with your least favorite. I’ve probably missed some types but just bear with me. 1. Basic transportation such as running an errand or commuting to work 2. Riding hard on a twisty road, exceeding the speed limit at times & attacking the corners. 3. Taking an easy ride, following the speed limit & just enjoying the freedom of two wheels. 4. Going on a structured ride with rules and etiquette such as a HOG event 5. Long distance sport touring 6. Finding some vacant asphalt and practicing stunts like wheelies and stoppies. 7. Riding a competitive type event such as a club race, battletrax or even a track day. 8. Cruzin’ main street or the local hangout, parking & hanging with your friends. I’ll start. Here’s my order. 2,3,6,8,1,7,5,4 |

My Buell is for: 2. Riding hard on a twisty road, exceeding the speed limit at times & attacking the corners. 5. Long distance sport touring. I use my Wide Glide for almost all the rest. It's just to boring on a Buell. Is like using a thorough breed at the pony farm. However, you will be hard pressed to ever find the Outrider ever participating in: 4. Going on a structured ride with rules and etiquette such as a HOG event. Watch, now that I said that, I will probably end up riding in a million charity rides this year. Oy!!! |

steve, yeah leno and many other celebs, 50,000 bikes going 35mph for 3-4 hrs, aaaaaarggghhh!!!!! many beautiful ladies though, about the only redeeming value of the whole gig, other than seeing billy idol live, that was pretty cool! must have been 99 or so. Sleez - The wife of the that actor from "Renegade" was such an airhead. She had some redeeming "qualities" but I found her hard to take. |
