Anyone interested? Thinking of switching wheels and having plastics painted black. Off a 2004 XB9R with 2300 miles. Front wheel has one scratch in the white, but other than that....wheels are perfect. Ideally, I want to swap straight across. Rims only, Each pays shipping for their own wheels. Email me at ruffryder@ifmracing.com Thanks |

I have some stock 03 rims that would be easy to get painted/powdered black I'd trade. |

If I go that route, I will more than likely powdercoat the ones I have....Still kinda up in the air at this point. Spend bunch of money on it, or just ride it like its ment to be ridden? |

Wouldn't it be cheaper to powder UNpainted rims? |

Are the stock '03 rims "unpainted"? I believe they have a "Stardust Silver" powdercoat with polished edges. |

Hmm could be. Looks like bare cast metal to me but you very well may be right. |

Either way they would have to be bead blasted to be powdercoated.... it preps the surface similar to scuffing plastic to be painted. I have a guy locally that can do both pretty reasonably. |
