So, after calling my local dealer, mentioning it when I took the bike in for some service work and even after handing them the service bulletin forms, they kept telling me my bike wasn't part of the bearing fix (even though the bearings were black). After talking with Craig, he pointed me to Buell support (got me the phone number). Buell support verified that yes, my bike was affected with the old bearings. They got on the phone and called my dealer up and told them to take care of it. Dealership called me back and let me know they've got the bearings on order and that my bike will be taken care of. It's a huge relief knowing that I won't be flipping over the front of the bike when they lock up. |
