As the title says I am looking for an xb9r around Cincinnati. Please let me know if you have one for sale or know of someone selling it. I will have about $5k cash to purchase it. Thanks Bob |

I'm 20 minutes from there, I will keep my eyes open. F&S Buell (Dayton, but worth the drive) has several brand new ones (including a 9sx) sitting on the showroom floor, and even more back in the warehouse. |

Bob, I don't have any for 5000.00 but I did just trade for a 03 XB9R on Sat that only has 1100 miles on it. I have it listed in the bikes for sale thread. I'm in Appleton Wisconsin. |

I have some fine memories of road trips to get motorcycles. Flying to Appleton and riding a new to me bike home would be a good one. |

Thanks for the responses guy. I actually bought my first Buell, a blast, from Billy up at F&S. He was a really nice guy to deal with. I might give him a call to see what he has. Thanks guys. Bob |

Bill is a great guy, he sold me my XB9SX, and he lurks here from time to time. I don't believe he is with F&S any more. Don't know if he went back to school full time or what. The parts and service people there still get the Buell thing, and will do right by you, but I don't know if they have a sales person that completely gets it now (though they may, I don't know). The Harley guys there do a good job of serving the customer and pushing the paperwork at the time of sale though, so I would still send people there, but now I would be more inclined to accompany them to make sure all the Buell questions get answered. The owner there is a grizzled old flat track racer Harley guy, the real deal, a neat fellow. They helped Aaron quite a bit on the early landspeed record attempts as well. If you go back to their Dyno room, the Dyno is sitting right beside a big stack of XR-750 motor boxes, it's cool. |
