Great meeting everyone. The points system sounds alright. Hey S1 I don't think I caught your name tonight is it Paul? If anyone with a R is interested I have the Buell touring seat and a firebolt tail bag that I have no use for anymore. Just shoot me an offer. Sam, you forgot to raffle off that highly used rim you had. |

DIDO, Dennis..GREAT JOB...I was also glad to see Gail at the meeting, and personally feel that they really do want and value our group and our business...Things are indeed changing, and all for the better... I think our group owes a lot of this to your hard work. Thanks for everything. |

I just picked up where Tripper left off when he passed this to me. We all just have to keep the momentum moving forward... and most of all remember that we all want warmer weather to get us away from administrative crap... and so we can get out and tear up the streets!!! I thought Sam was going to raffle off that rear wheel! I know I was looking for a spare! I never win anything!!! Why couldn't I win one little rear wheel!? Who was gonna donate that wheel?? Next meeting I will be better organized... and we will do the 50/50 money raffle. SORRY!!! |

Mobbers... et al I told you I would keep you up to speed about the Iraq job. I just got a call from the company with the government contract... they were very pleased with my resume and they are sending me an application package. The earliest date I am eligible for employment is April 28th, 2005, confirmed by me and by them. Looks like it is moving forward... should get the application packet via email today. I will be adding sun screen to this weeks shopping list. Not yet cut in stone... but moving forward at a promising rate. Back to normal (can I use the word normal when referring to this thread???) traffic (Message edited by dasbuell on February 18, 2005) |

My carbeurated '97 S1 could use a boost. I'm thinking about adding a single fire ignition module. Does anyone have experience with ignitions. I could sure use some advice. I am a member of the KC mob at GHD Buell club in Grandview. |

If you have a stock ignition module, getting a duel fired ignition module like a dyna 2000 will help you out.Its just a plug and play module,if you go to single fire, you will have to change much more that that, and it get kinda involved.I dont think the single fire adds anything over the duel, that you can tell anyway. If you want more boost you can get a 1250 kit, there are several people selling them.....here is a link where I bought dyna 2000 ignition module and 1250 kit,and was treated right.....http://www.revperf.com/home.aspx |

Also,Dave Adams who does all the engine building at GAILS can install the kit at a reasonable price. |

Oh yea almost forgot. I think the meeting in itself needs some fine tuning, but it seems to be hitting on all cylinders. I remember when, Sam, Bill, Richie, Dennis & I use to sit down have a meal once in awhile then go ride and think of how cool this club would be becomming somthin (KC MOB). I did not contribute much but they all sure did, and am proud to say thanks guys for sticking in there for what you Stand for!!!!!! Looks as though it went well and is going to get better. By the way, good to see new faces!!!!!!!!! Tell your friend's----Lets Ride!!! (Message edited by s1lightning on February 18, 2005) |

Actually, I think anything on 2 wheels would be good for sam. I caught him driving his ol' ladies car, and I think he may be having withdrawal. |
