Has anyone else had problems with the little clip that keeps the clutch cable off the front cylinder header? I have less than 2000 miles on my Firebolt, and my bike is already at the dealership with a melted clutch cable. I'm not sure how long the clip was broken before I noticed it, but I'm sure it didn't take long to screw up the cable. Should this be covered in my warranty? Is there any aftermarket clips that are stronger? I'm sure that riding wheelies has something to do with the clip breaking, but it seems like a pretty weak clip to me anyway. Seems almost like a design flaw to me. Thoughts? Thanks! |
