Okay I can't see myself paying 100+ dollars for the mini race fairing mirrors, so I decided to go with the Cat Eye Mirrors. I've fabricated it a little so it will work with my current bar end. Question. Does anyone know where I can get some mirror eliminators for the XB12R or for those of you with bar end mirrors on the XB12R what did you do to cover the holes. I know grinding down the stock mirror is one option. |

Check through the archives. Someone on here just fabricated some using the base off the stockers. If I am not mistaken, he shaved them then polished to chrome. |

This is what I used www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/32777/90314.html Just some button socket head stainless screws and some countersunk shaped washers. |

Thanks Gowindward.. that's what I was looking for. Both ideas were good, I just wanted to retain my stock mirrors just in case. I'm also keeping to a theme here. Pics later on next month when I get it back from the airbrush artist. |

Thanks everyone... got the CatEyes installed and was able to cap off the holes where the stock holes were at. Looks very clean. Total price 26.00 bucks... mirrors and hardware for the entire projects. Pics later. |
