1313; I will give you 33 cheers for Ms. February as long as you pay for shipping I will pay for the handling...Ouch! The wife said I would pay for the rest of my life for the cost of handling such a package. Women |

Evil, You've got to let us in on where you got that fairing! It doesn't have the holes in the top edge for the standard frame sliders. Also, Please detail how the oil cooler is now mounted. Thanks, Sherm |

sorry for my late reply, but I was totally busy last days. fairing was made in Poland, oil cooler is stock, muffler - Yoshimura RS-3 Titanium re-designed for Buell, airbox covered with Keller plate to keep air inside cool. no air filter, berilium oil pump drive gear (best for race track use), now I'm waiting for Buell Factory Racing ECM - this ECM will give with stock engine aprox. 107KM at rear wheel, should be OK. sliders for my XB are from LSL, same as steering damper, performance cluth from Zodiac catalogue. if somebody is interested in fairing, just let me know! |

Here's my 97 S1 Lightning. The frame has been re-painted in orange with the original silver bodywork. Jugs, heads and engine side covers have been powdercoated black with the edges of the cooling fins matched in orange. Mikuni HSR42 carb, Carbon Fiber air cleaner, CRG bar end mirrors, billet pegs, Buell Race Exhaust. It's a ton of fun!! Please put at least a character space between each image to keep the page width within acceptable limits. Thanks, Blake (Message edited by blake on February 17, 2005) |

We've been having some nice weather here in Eastern WA for the last week so the bikes been out quite a bit. I need to get some new tires on it though, I'm thinking of going with Pirelli's. Sorry but I won't be able to make the homecoming this year, I might make a few rally's that are a little closer though. Anyone live close to Kennewick WA? If so lets go ridin. Hodakaguy |

Evil.. Where the heck did you scare up the custom drive pump gear? Zippers used to have a bronze one, but discontinued it. Anyone replacing the original due to wear (and you better be checking it every 12k miles or so) would be well served to replace it with a different one, if there is a source and a price for this Badweb needs to know! |

I used to collect Hodaka's. I've had one of all their models. My favorits are the Wombat, Super Combat and the Combat Wombat. I need to find another one to restore and start the hobbie over again. Like anything it can turn into an addiction. Anyone have a Super Combat they are wanting to get rid of :-) Hodakaguy |

Reepicheep, this oil pump drive gear was probably made in Germany, but there is possibility, that it was made by Buell as part of Factory Racing Kit, same as ECM. when I'll get some more info, I'll let you know. moreover, I'll put some new pictures soon |

Evil & Reep...Hal's Performance Center advised that they simply use the stock oil pump drive gear. Makes sense if you consider how often they tear the engines down. Then again, it could be a BS Maneuver to conceal a secret source. LOL Evil...Having a source for upgraded oil pump drive gears would really be a wonderful thing for us Tuber owners. Please do what you can to find the source of the one you procured. Thanks in advance for your efforts concerning this matter. (Message edited by Outrider on February 17, 2005) |

Thanks Outrider and Evil. Anyone seen evidence of wear on the XB's? I bet not, I bet the root problem can be traced to some very worn tooling somewhere on a (now rebuilt) Evo assembly line. |
