LOL! I was wondering if you were going to make it home Brian Go to Home Depot/Lowes and buy the yellow rainsuit that is listed as HEAVY DUTY. You will know it by weight. Its a contractor grade that stands up pretty well. Just put ducttape around the legbottom to keep it from flapping so much in the wind. |

Do you realize that I'm in MARICOPA?! I'm lucky there's a gas station within 5 miles....let alone a Home Depot! My roomie is out picking up his truck (just bought himself a sweet F250) and won't be home til late. Tomorrow he goes to work at 5:00 am! I'll just deal with it tomorrow and hope there's a break in the weather. Hopefully my boots and gloves will dry out by then. (Message edited by Tucsonxb9s on February 10, 2005) |

MrBill, while your up there under the tank checking them wires, double check your VOES wires. Not really sure if the fuel injected bikes have these, but it's a small vacuum switch behind the carb and below the tank on older tubers. (like all of mine) |

Mr_Bill I've got a new set of plug wires and Buell race(?) plugs you can test with, but I don't want to give them up yet. I know some guys really liked the Bosch plugs in the Buells but you'll have to find out where to order them (cycle gear?). I'm down near 43rd Ave & Beardsley. I just went through a car problem that drove me nuts for ten days. Thought I had water in the gas, put stuff in the tank, ran it out of gas, put some fresh gas in and still had intermitten problems. Turns out the #6 plug wire melted where I could not see it. Finnally shorted out bad enough at work I took it in to the shop we use at work and they scoped it & found it right away. Between that my son turning 18 and our point of sale server being down the last two weeks, I'm FRIED. After three days we put a back up server on line and it took two more days to relize the credit card processor link was not copied over. Had to re-enter five days of credit card sales manually on the processors web site. ITS BEEN A LONG TWO WEEKS. I should be home working on the bikes this weekend. Send me an email. |

For those of you in Phoenix... Went by Chandler Harley today to pick up my spiffy new free Buell hat, and their down to their last half dozen or so (so they claim), so if you're getting one from there, don't wait too long! |

You have to print this coupon: http://www.buell.com/en_us/promos/cap/coupon.asp?subID=15075 Fill it out and take it to their sales office, and they hand you a hat! No questions or hassles. The tag on the hat says they'll be doing free sling bags with a demo ride in April! |

I just picked up a 95 S2 from the classifieds on badweb and I wanted to get it tuned in. It has the Edelbrock heads, pistons, intake manifold, Mikuni Carb and various other misc. parts. Does anyone know of a good shop in the Phoenix area that tunes and adjust whatever else needs to be adjusted to be getting it running tips. It runs pretty good right now but I want to get the most out of it I can. Thanks (Message edited by 97s1 on February 14, 2005) |

97s1, if you're looking for an HD/Buell shop, I've been pretty happy with Chandler HD. Don't know about independents. |

I use #1 Cycles & Machines, Roger Lockwood. He has very nice shop including a dyno tuning center. He builds some very wild engines for customers all over the country. The shop is located in Surprise off of Grand and 163rd St. |

Thanks. I'll give them both a call and see who can do what I want done. I'm thinking #1 Cycles and Machines is more up my alley. |

Give Chosa's HD in Mesa a call, they have a lead tech there thats been drag racing sportsters for 10+ years, they have a state of the art dyno with exhaust sniffer. He rebuild my motor and dyno tuned it, he is also a good friend. Ask for Butthead. (Message edited by azbueller on February 14, 2005) |

I'm not a big fan of the local HD dealers. Arrowhead and Chandler both treated me poorly. I like Evo over at Redline Cycles. He rebuilt my forks and gave me a good deal on tires, and I'd have no problem recommending him. 12440 N. 103rd Ave s/w corner of Grand and 103rd 623-875-4966. bill |

Azbueller, I called them up and they no longer service Buells. They were recommending me to Custom Performance in Cave Creek. I have to wait till tomorow for all the others that were referred because no one is open on Mondays!! |

Hey Dave, good to see your still around. thought you had gone overseas or something like that. I'm doing ok, still trying to get my S2 up and going, but Millenium isn't playing well, giving the shop a hard time about replacing the cylinders. What a nightmare this has been! I should have left that bike stock and just rode the heck out of it. Like M1 said above, don't forget the AZ SpringFast ride in April, if your around you should most certainly attend. Miss riding with ya, try to get back in the wind my friend. Bart |

If any of you AZ SpringFasters don't have a room yet, are of non-freakish height, and are looking to reduce costs, I booked a 2 double bed room for the weekend. My Dad had to drop out, though, so I've got an extra bed and will split the room... |

So that wasn't you on the S1 blasting up 60 towards Globe this afternoon? CHP jacket, Sunglasses, no helmet, short hair, Nuke Blue frame, and Grey/Silver bodywork? Not sure what my plans for this weekend are, but call me and we will hook up somewhere. |
