Cam cover. Got a brand spankin' new one for $69 yesterday. Yeah, I know they sell those "covers". I want the real thing chromed. I may also get my lower fork legs chromed, and *maybe* the triple clamps. Matters how much I really wanna tear things down. I'll also ask Hal's who they use for chroming. |

Steve, I just bought a cam cover on Ebay. It had a scratch in it, but it will be covered by my exhaust pipes. With shipping it was $42.50. Plus you don't have to disassemble the engine. Take a serious look at them, they look good and will save you some time. |

Wingnut.........the Belle City pages archive so fast that you probably missed it. From memory....Rocco and his wife are going down and offered for anyone that wanted to join them. I think they said they were leaving no later than 3 p.m. Personally, a small group of us from Brew City are going. Looks like we will have two full cars leaving Milwaukee (State Fair Area) between 2-2:30 p.m. If you want to meet up, PM me and I will get you a cell number. |

Becki and I are going to IMS on Friday as well, but we won't be leaving Milwaukee until 3pm and we'll have the baby. I'm sure that we'll see everyone there. JT |

For those going to the IMS this weekend: There is a free shuttle from the Rosement El Station located on River Road. Parking there is only a few dollars as it is a commuter lot. To get there, take the I-190 West exit towards O'Hare. Then exit Manheim Rd South. Once on Manheim you can exit to I-190 East to Chicago. Take the River Road South exit. Turn right at the bottom of the ramp and immediately get over to the left lane. Just in case someone wants to save a few bucks on parking! (Message edited by kinger on February 10, 2005) |

Doing the Crossroads this Saturday (the 19th) if anyone can still lend a hand. 4:30pm, our house. Kids welcomed. Pizza and Soda provided. Adult Beverages, you're on your own. If you can make it, please let me know so I can order food accordingly. Nice to run into some of you at the IMS. Too bad it was too hard to stick together as a group due to the many different directions we all wanted to go. |

Rocco, what is the crossroads? As for IMS: Dana, you look at home on the Monster. I wish Buell still made something like that. The more I looked at the other bikes the more the Buells seemed small and cramped, and you're taller than me! Firey, I thought that you could lean further than that during a battle trax! I was really digging the Truimph models with the triple. The Sprint S/T is killer and Becki is in love with the Speed 4. I was pissed that I never found anyone with electric vests on display, but oh well. I'm getting the Widder System 2 vest before ridding season starts. Hopefully it will extend my riding season this year. JT |

Impluse....Gebrings had a rather large display at the show. They sell heated jackets/liners not vests, but it appears to be good stuff. I was a little disappointed in the boot selection. Lots of leather "Harley" type boots but I didn't see many riding boots that suited my needs. Overall it was about the same as the past years. I really liked the feel of the BMW K1200S and I liked the Thruxton as well. Too many bikes that I would like to have. |
