Can anybody tell me who makes a aftermarket frame so I can take parts from a 99 Cyclone and make a custom.I know Motorcycle Works,Redneck and Atlas all have frames but they want way to much for them. Need to be able to use the front-end,wheels and motor. Also takes 1 inch axle on rear. Looked on Paugcho website they have better pricing but can't tell if the Sportster frame would work.Don't think it could take the 180 tire? Plus takes 12 weeks to get. Any help would be great.Want to start on a new project. |

I'm pretty sure a frame made for a sportster will fit a Buell motor just fine, as externally, pre-XB Buell motors ARE Sportster motors. Someone correct me if I'm mistaken. Why not use an ACTUAL Sportster to hack up into an uncomfortable, poorly handling bike, instead of hacking up a great running great handling Buell into an uncomfortable, poorly handling bike? Sportsters are plentiful, relatively cheap, and many are already laden with all that silly chrome that's so in vogue. Sorry, maybe I'm not being very helpful. AL |

Just after a new project.Don't get me wrong still love my X-1 just want to build a bar hopper mutant buell with extra parts from the Cyclone. Starting to see a few of these around.Thought it could be a fun project.Just don't want to spend 2000.00 for a rigid frame and wait 12 weeks to order.Yes mcworx has some cool bikes. My wife would kill me spending that much on a frame.I need to juggle my family life with the love of bikes. If I do it under the radar I can usually get it done. Every once and while she will say "where did you get that new one" Can you believe that she thinks that food and clothes for the kids are more important than beer and bikes. Ha!Ha! |

Found this in 'Bandit's Bikernet' this guy didn't go buy a frame to make his chopper. I'm going to attempt to shut up, taking my mother's advice - "If you can't say something good about it - don't say anything at all!" AL |

Obviously, there is a lot of people taking your mother's advice. Words just can't describe this. |
