SBuellet....Ha...see that play on words. Me smart like that. The X1-R is looking great. I really dig the decal on the faring. Looks very factory. Glitch....post some pics of the crossroads installation. I'm thoughts of that mod as a possible future item. |

S2pengy: I did'nt mean to insinuate I was the ONLY tuber in the group. I was making a joke about fitting in with all the XB's.Not that I need to because we both (and B_S) know that tubers are better anyway. |

Sbullet...You should know from experience that and XB9! 984cc, if your counting, is faster than an X1-R. Which, if I'm correct, is 1200cc. I was wrong once but I was mistaken. |

B_S, I was going to take pics of the install, but I completely ran out of time last night. What a day yesterday was, quite possibly one of the best Monday's I've had. Not to worry though, I'll take some pics tonight, after I put on the new grips. The way things are going you may get to see them in person this weekend. Cross Roads would probably sell more if this wasn't their only pic on their web site. Now think of the "triple clamp" in flat black, on a black XB9, and it still won't look as nice as it does in person. I sat on 'er last night after I got finished, and she felt real nice. We'll have to get together this weekend, even if I'm not able to ride (horrible thought, but I must prepare for the worst) so you can see all I've done. |

The Streetfighter seat is so sweet!!! I am stoked! Odie... I will see how soon the dealer can get you some new modules. If it will take too long, we will just have to coordinate schedules to minimized downtime. And if you can just primer the parts for me I am going to paint them Graphite. My goal is to get this project done before next weekend, but if not...that is totally cool. The club would probably appreciate you taking your time so they at least have a chance at the show!

Stealth-I'm going for a quick ride so I can get back and change my oil and primary and start prepping for powdering. I will take my tree off and go from there....... B_S, yes, front or rear, service manual says new hardware. On the front that consists of bolts, washers, springs and drive bushings..... |

New12r, You know I want to ride! I'm going to pick up some grips this afternoon. Maybe a blinker also, then I'll be ready to ride. I also have to drop off something with B_S, so that may be the ride right there. What say you? |

Looks like Coke has joined the masses and built a custom. They've got this one to promote Full Throttle. Full Throttle? They should have built a race bike. But who am I to say? It's from Thunder Mountain. SMHD&B sells their bikes. I've got some other pics too, but they're too big and I don't have the xat software on this machine. Besides if you've seen one custom you've seen 'em all, right? |

Stealth, I didn't realize there was anything that costs more than Rizoma, so I didn't even look at price. New12r, Is it raining there? Looks nasty here. But, on a happier note, I found solid black Super Bike grips! |

I dunno about a rain ride ... I know I don't want to be on my bike in the rain. Can't believe I said that can you? It's just that I don't know my bike after adding the clip ons. I'd rather get to know her better when the weather is good. But give me a call on my cell when you get home any way. |
