Weather was GREAT today in north central Texas! It was between 55-60, and I rode for 2.5 hours trying to find some twisty FM roads (farm to market, two-lane rural with almost no traffic) southeast of Dallas. Only found a few, but the weather was so good, it didn't matter! It's supposed to rain tomorrow - oh well, I'm watching the SuperBowl anyway. Anyone else ride? |

I rode the only road worth a crap as far as curves go on the way to work . It's about 15 miles one way thru the firing range complex here at Fort Rucker. 100+ mph sweepers, etc. Nice road, just not a lot of passing areas. I try to hit it twice a week to keep my tire round instead of flat in the center. Works well. It was about 62 degrees I think today.....Odie |

Rode the XB about 30 miles yesterday after work so it wouldn't be upset over me riding the S3 500 miles today. Cold at first but warmed up bright & sunny by midday. Not as much snow on Mt. Whitney as I thought there would be. |

Rode to the coffee shop and watched expensive girls. KCBill putted by on his Black Beast and we took off to our dealer sponsor. Harassed the dealer staff for 2 hats and converted a Guzzi owner over to the dark side. In between there we broke a few speed limits. A great day. |

I rode for a while today here in MN where it was also 50 degrees (normal would be in the teens or less). It's been warm for a week now so all the snow is gone. Still taking it easy on curves due to possible sand/salt leftover from recent cold snap. Funny thing is i got pulled over for going "too slow" because I was doing 50 on a 55mph and didn't pass a cop who was going slow. I'm glad they're so concerned...WTF? Going ice climbing tomorrow, man this is effed up weather. |

I went for a short ride here in Korea...was probably in the lower 30s...no snow. I let the Buell warm up pretty good before I took off. Man, after being off the bike for just a couple of weeks, I forgot how easy it is to pull wheelies (actually I take it easy when I am with my Harley buddies - rode alone this time). Typical for Korea, I went to the front at read lights and was either doing roll on wheelies or getting the front end in the air when I hit second or third. I had to ride the little sucker this weekend despite the cold...Love it!

All our plants are in the wilderness, during the summer I will ride my KLR or WR in, unless it's pouring of course. |

Hey Eric, I was down at the motorcycle Show, yesterday and I saw quite a few bikes out. I was thinking about riding down from Duluth, but The back roads here are pretty icy yet, and we have a lot more snow up here than you guys down there. |

You guys were killing me. I couldn't take it anymore. I've been couped up WAY too long. I took Her out for a ride today! It was the best 20 minutes this winter. The sky is blue and it's 30 degrees with a wind chill of 17. Man, did it feel good. |

I rode yesterday for a good while. Didn't get out early enough to ride up to the mountains though. Today it's raining. But the near future looks bright.

I went out today on Long Island. Temp was 40º but the sun was out. Snow on the ground from a couple of weeks ago,but the roads were surprisingly dry and clean. Felt great to be out. Not much traffic either:-) |

I rode today here around Austin. I took the Lime Creek Rd. route around Lake Travis. The weather was nice(70s), and the road was nice and twisty. My wife followed me on her Ducati. I think the weather is supposed to turn bad for the rest of the week, so I am glad we were able to get out today. I feel bad for you guys up north. Our weather only stays bad for a week or so at a time here in Austin. Spring will be here soon for you guys. It's already here for us. |

I picked up a XB9SX in mid January and took it down the California coast through Carmel and Big Sur last weekend. Yesterday I rode through the Santa Cruz Mountains and up the coast to Half Moon Bay for some lunch. Had fun on both rides and saw some familiar but still stunning views. The XB is perfect on a road like Hwy 1 down through Big Sur. My XB is fitted with a race kit and I've got a FAST Intake on order. I have a TFI in case I need it later after I install the FAST parts. Right now it runs well. Should be better after I open up the intake. |

Robert, sorry I didn't notice the post til now. Any snow left up there? More important, is there any ice left in Casket Quarry? I was able to ride Thurs/Fri/Sat until it started raining today, messed up weather for Feb. in MN. I don't know that I would ride on Duluth streets until everything is gone, they're bad enough as it is. Keep an eye on the MN Storm Fronts postings, we may head up north this summer to hit Hwy 1. |

Been hitting 80 F here. Ride to work every day, rode to bike night last night. Heck, wakeboarded with no wetsuit Wed. after work. Might be hot and steamy in the summer but can't beat this. I hope it is just a s nice for Bike Week! Frank |
