i gotta 99 m2 for sale. i got it off of badweb with the intentions of making it a race bike but taxes are calling my name. the front piston blew and dropped into the motor so you know what needs to be done...its not a hard fix but its some work! i was gonna do it myself... o well. heads look good, cylinders need honed or replaced, needs new pistons and all the metal cleared out of the motor...not sure about the main bearings yet, i havent gotten that far... its got the buell race kit, crossroads clipons, rizoma brake and shifter set, all recalls done. its black with black wheels, VERY nice shape. i have some extras with it too...it came from north carolina so its clean, i think about 13000 miles. ill get more info and pics if anyones interested. i have exactly 3200.00 into it, thats what i need, will consider patial trades...lemme know. i can part it out for more than 4000.00 ( i did the math already)but i dont wanna tear this bike apart and scatter it, its beautiful!!!! jason hoegle pittsburgh, pa 412 512 6936 | ||

So you've got the motor out? How did the piston go? Valves okay? Crank okay? Which crank - pressed or serviceable? | ||

i got the top off and got a good look, it looks pretty good inside, theres piston metal in the bottom end but the crank looked fine, we couldnt tell if the bearings were shot but id replace them anyway cause its still going to need pulled apart to clean but all looks ok. the piston went while riding and was stopped pretty quick. the heads/valves all look good, id have them done anyway while your re-doing the motor. i do have the motor back together, i had it sold locally to a buddy but he got his wife pregnant and backed out. if you saw the bike, you can tell it was well cared for.many upgrades and goodies...like i said, id hate to part it so i thought id give badwebbers first crack on this gorgeous bike. |
