Hey M1, I got to run the Spars yesterday and Yarnell pass on my way home from an afternoon appointment in Chino Valley! I decided not to superslab it home and went the back way. Added a ton of time but it was worth it...even if was in the Miata! Actually, I rather enjoyed it. Temp controlled enviroment, stereo blastin' Godsmack, and a Pepsi in the CUPHOLDER! As much as those curves show how our bikes shine, it really amplifies why I bought a Miata. Real similar to my Buell....it's no horsepower monster, but throw some twists at it an let her rip! |

Miata's rock... I've been thinking about picking one up for a track . Is your miata red? Was it parked at the Prescott square yesterday at all? BTW Brian... you've got PM |

The next Buell to hit the streets will be the all new, all cool.. CYCLONE XBC1200 & XBC1200F. Based on a slightly larger version of the XB frame the new Cyclone will have hidden hard bag mounting points for sport touring use. The specially built bags will be lockable and capable of holding a full-face helmet in each with room to spare for gloves and a few other small items. The new frame will resemble the current 'race' frame by closing the air intake hole, allowing a larger reservoir of fuel to be carried. The bike will have at it's heart a new, 1200cc, four valve per cylinder, dual overhead cam 45* V-Twin engine producing a claimed 120bhp at the rear wheel. This new more powerful plant will pump it's power through a close ratio 6 speed transmission built for high end sport touring. 3/4-inch lower pegs allow for a more comfortable long range riding position. An even more powerfully tuned engine, using race bread tuning and components will be called the Cyclone F-5. The F-5 will have a more aggressive riding position, with out provisions for a passenger. The F-5 is claiming an arm wrenching 140bhp at the rear wheel. Due to it's higher power output, a disclaimer and indemnity must be signed by all persons purchasing the F-5. Failure to sign such a document will cause parent company Harley-Davidson to forbid sale of the Cyclone F-5. When asked for his thoughts on the new machine, company founder and chief technology officer Erik Buell broke out in a laughing fit saying in-between breaths.. The F-5 scared the hell out of him.. But he had to build it, it was a moral imperative. Price points for the two new machines have yet to be set, but insiders at H-D are hoping for a nice comfortable $32,000.00 per unit, however Buell company officials are looking more at a $11,000.00 MSRP. Harley-Davidson Marketing dweeb, Rip Emoff, said a whole line of solid steel chromed parts including all fairing and frame parts is in the planning stages, as well as new chrome 'comfort' parts such as seats, grips and tires. "Uh, Wid all that powah, you need the weight of the beautiful chrome and blingin' parts so it don't get away from ya’ A special line of color matched leathers will also be produced. "We're sellin' the new Buell life style. Don't worry, we're gonna offer all the high performance stuff you'd want, including dash mounted GPS, coffee maker and 32 inch television." |

Wouldn't happen to have a spare bike to loan an out of town Bueller would ya? Or loan me so I can loan him mine for a few days? I will give ya a call Bart. Just have to take the test that I have been studying for all night and the physical. Start date is the 14th. Guess Charlies Avater is more fitting for me now, but its something to keep on the quiet. |

I'll be riding tomorrow Wycked. If you wanna meet up somewhere let me know. I don't know Phx very well though... If you and Brian wanna ride around up here we could do the spars/skull valley/Prescott loop... I'll need to buy some ear plugs first though. This Force pipe is LOUD. I think I need to get the baffle for it too . |
