Ok.. Mine's on the way to you... Like the wifes, it's coming direct from the bank, no middle man at Paypal to add to costs. Let me know if you don't receive ours in good time and I'll be sure to put the screw to the bank. Later, |

Blake, when is the deadline? Money is really tight right now (no work in winter) but I can probably swing $25 sometime in late Feb. I'm not a huge racing fan but I'd like to pitch in simply to give something back to BadWeb for all I've gotten from it. |

(We humbly request that you please kindly tack on an additional 3% + $0.30 to cover the PayPal and credit card transaction fees. For a $100 pledge that amounts to an extra $3.30.) I'm bad at math so I rounded up |

That will be fine Tom. Thanks for pitching in. I'll add you to the pledge list for $25. Time now to update the list. Josh, Rounding up is good. |

Blake, Put me down for $50. An eCheck is on the way from the bank. I'm just bummed that BIR was dropped from the list, no Buell racing in MN this year unless our BRAG group gets a track day there. Thanks for setting this up! Eric |

Will hit that tonight. The contributions are rolling in! Got two in the mail yesterday! Thanks all! Please continue discussing the payout schedule/format keeping in mind that each race must use the exact same one. We can also offer a championship award too. |

Well, heck-o-matic.. I think I'm getting old timers over here.. Did someone say we HAD to give a minimum of $500 per race? Is that as a single amount or can it be a total offered? If it's total for the race, then it's simple.. Blake and I already hashed the basics out. So it's the fine tuning we should get into.. We pay out to the first three Buells to finish each race. Descending amounts for each and we tack a 'bonus' on for each podium finish. Monies not given during the regular season go to the rider with most points at the end of the season.. If we plan on a 'maximum' output for each race thinking in terms of three podium finishes, then the total's for each race will be do able, while at the same time any time we don't have a podium finish, it'll put money in the season points fund. Doesn't that sound like a plan? As well as if they shorten the season (number of races) that will also raise our payouts for each race.. Does all this make sense or am I off in la la land again? Thoughts? Once again, we're going to have to nail this down soon.. So let's get our quorum done and we're on our way. Later, |

Don't have to give (award) $500 per race. We must only offer at least $500 total in available awards per race. I vote to keep it simple, award 50/30/20 to the first three Buells that finish the race. For a $1,000 total award per race that would be $500/$300/$200. |

Ok, with no 'spiff' for podiums and any monies not awarded roll into a 'points leader' award for the end of the season? The K I S S method .. works for me.. What's next? Later, |

As is the AMA cannot accommodate the rollover of unawarded funds. They are supposed to look into it and get back to me. Time to rattle their cage on that. Maybe the rollover into a championship fund wouldn't be so tough as rolling over unawarded funds to the next race's award pot, which is what I had originally inquired about. |

Well, as I understand it.. if you're asking about how my wife and I sent our money.. We use our standard on-line bill pay service. Since you're a private, non-corporate account.. The bank cuts you a check and mails it too you. Then you just cash it like a normal check. The funds should be instant (no waiting to clear) since it's a bank certified check. That's how I think it goes.. Later, |
