Aaron, Neat stuff! However, it's kind of hard to view as all the pictures are spread out horizontaly instead of vertically. A quick edit of your post will fix that. Just put a carriage return after each one of your image tags. That will put all the picture up and down instead of side to side. |

hey blake who's that too? buelltroll,, thats a touchy subject, people wont want to feed you info on something that could be particularly dangerous,, rotor failure is very bad mojo, front locks up and your supper man,, that is till you hit the ground. and drilling and slotting of the rotors are precision placed to ensure uniform contact are . dont forget that as you go further out on the circumference you have more material rushing threw those pads at a higher velocity, but if you think you have all those ducks in a row and still want to press your luck,, ductile iron or a 400 series stainless, some people use low carbon steels, you would defiantly want a billet material as cast would probably have porosity issues. but this is just an idiots take on things and others would probably be able to give you much better answers than this one, personally it sounds like a cool idea with "GREAT POSSIBILITY OF TRAGIC FAILURE" not to discourage you just to point out possible problems to learn about before attempting this project. PS.. if blake didnt chime in with info, probably trying to tell you something. but their are a lot of other people on here a lot smarter than i am. see what they say and go from their |
