WINGNUT IS DA' MAN!!!!! I downloaded the Grisoft AVG software and it found all (over twelve )of the viruses that my computer had on it, and actually removed them. It's free and it did what Norton was unable to do. My computer actually works again!!!!! Thanks Mike, JT |

Hey, did you guys see Wes's race profile on the Buell site? He's getting famous. That's why we don't hear from him anymore. Git-R- Dun, Wes! |

I know we need a Treasurer, but I don't think the Badweb is the place to do it. It should be done at a meeting. Not everyone is on this site everyday, if at all, and that's not fair to them. It's a club function, not a Badweb function. With that, do what you guys want. Karri isn't interested in the "job" anyway. Too much other stuff going right now. |

Ah, yes, I'm finally home. It was a long, brutal almost 3 weeks, but I've made it. I spent the whole time working so really no chance to see Brazil, but I do have some pictures and I'll post them as soon as I can get caught up here in the office and start compressing them. Anyway, sorry I missed the party and meeting, I hope everybody had a good time. Rocco, let me know when you want to do the Crossroads. |

Welcome home Jason! I've got those frame sliders designed up, but I'd like someone to double check the length for me on a tuber, if they have their bike handy today. Mine is burried in my shed. I'll post a PDF with dimensions on 'em this afternoon. I'm using the Vortex frame slider pucks, since they are the cheapest, and can be purchased easily from MAW, or locally. They had them at Lake Country motorsports in Waukesha. You can even get 'em in different colors http://www.mawonline.com/photos/lp_vortex_sldr_pucks.gif I'm not using the metric screw they include in the package. I was talking to one of the guys at Lake COuntry, and he said when he dumped his, the screw pulled out. So I'm using a longer 5/8-11 SHCS. |

Since the PDF/part print is too large to upload here, I've put it on BrewCity Brag's site: http://www.brewcitybrag.org/files/frameslider.pdf |

Steve....the only problem I see is getting the bolts in tight from the back side. I'm not sure they can be torqued properly from that angle. Otherwise, they look like a winner! oh yeah...you should be getting a package on Tuesday or Wednesday. No hurry on the return. I'd rather wait until the sliders are ready before returning. That way they can both go get powder coat together. |

Lake, Bomber beat ya to it, and mentioned the bolt position. So I fixed that already

Oh yeah, I'm going to make some provisions for some kind of rubber gasket to go between the slider and the frame. I don't know about you, but I don't want my frame all scratched up from the slider I'll most likely be ordering the stock this week, and start cuttin' 'em next weekend. As long as I have a free machine to do so. If you guys can think of anything else you'd like, that is difficult to get, that I can design and machine up. Just say the word. We've already got swingarm sliders planned for the XBs, Tubers, and Blasts. I'd like to do some frame sliders for the blast, but there just isn't a good place to mount one. I'll look closely at a Blast today while we're at Hals. (Message edited by Steve_mackay on January 29, 2005) |

Steve, Are those frame sliders for Tubers or XB's? Also, If no one else is going to take the Treasurer job, I will step up to the plate and throw my hat into the ring. JT |

Tubers. Want a pair? I'm not sure what material costs is going to come to... Yet... But that is all I'm charging for them. |
