Looks like y'all had a great evening. However, curiosity is killing me. Did Erik's shirt have a Buell Logo or anything that mentioned BMC on it, or does he deserve one of Court's "Patch Fines?" |

First, I want to apologize to Blake for hurting his neck. My little demonic car has possessed me out of jealousy for my XB. Lemme just say how pleased I am at the turnout! We missed some of the other DFW locals - y'all missed a great time! |

I think we should all give proper thanks to our friend Dave. None of this would have happened the way it did without his efforts and thoughtful nature. You are good people in my book! I owe you one...or maybe two. |

Ditto on that! Thanks Dave! And it was sure a pleasure to meet that Clown, Cameron. He had his end of the table laughing all evening.
Court, The ribs were great! Not sure about the chicken sandwich though. Who had the chicken sandwich?
Chris, The thrill of the ride was worth the pain. Actually, my neck is fine, just having some fun with ya. That is one wicked cool wunderwagon, lingering new car smell and all. My kind of car, all business, little show, all go! Please let me know when you want to sell it cheap. (Message edited by blake on January 25, 2005) |

Very Cool! Being only three hours away (Austin), now I'm twice as sorry I missed out (Realtors get the honor of working Sundays, sometimes). Hey! How 'bout one of the group pictures with names attached? I recognise RoadThing and DaveS from previous pics and now know what Chris and Dago look like, and that Harley Guy looks kinda familiar, but who else was there? Being in Texas, I might run across (or over!) some of you fellers some time...like maybe at this year's Thrills In The Hills. HellBuelly J Don't wheelie in front of me, I may not follow. Don't wheelie behind me, I may not lead.. Wheele beside me and be my friend. --Albert Camusbuelly |

Gents, it was a pleasure meeting you all! Pix of Dave slathered in BBQ sauce are forthcoming. Still no word on the missing chicken sandwich, though... rt |

Wow, what a night. I really enjoyed meeting everyone. It is nice getting to put faces with names now. Now we need to start talking about getting a ride together or at least meeting on a more regular basis. Thanx again for letting the new guy feel welcome. |

Great pics- And it is easier to put faces to names. I'm sorry now I put the citizens of Austin ahead of my own selfish desires- I can say with a reasonable amount of certainty that it will not happen next time. Hope everyone had a safe trip back to wherever.

Yes, we all had a good time and for all those that missed it, yall show up next time... Thanks for all who helped line everything up and provided transportation for the out of towners... Daves, thanks for the invitation to the special guest, and thank him for coming and visiting. We enjoyed talking to all the the 'foreigners', hope yall had a good time too... I enjoyed meeting all of yall and hope to meet up on a ride real soon... Dago, yep I"m missing from that pic. That's what I get for going to the can before we left. But hey, I had about a 45 minute ride and that night air was cold, know what I mean... Hope all of yall visitors had good meetings to go to. I had to go in to my regular old job, riding in that 70 degree weather of course... Oh, I didn't get corporate guy #1s name but #2 was Scot Ferguson. Kevin

It's Bruce Champion. He is in charge of Buell parts distribution. Bruce is the one that makes sure I get the parts all of you need in a timely fashion. Scot is an engineer. We all owe them both a lot of thanks! I don't know of too many motorcycle companies where the founder and two other top level people would come to a get together like we had. Just one of the ways that Buell is "Different in every sense" It was great meeting you guys in person! Always fun to meet people you only know thru the web. I'm glad you enjoyed the get together as much as I did. I'm back in WI now after a 12 hour day to spend 3 1/2 hours actually in an airplane What a mess! I'll be back at work tomorrow. Thanks again for the hospitality. Texans are all right in my book! |

Yes, I visited with Bruce and Scot. They are both very nice and cool people... And it is inpressive that people in those positions are as down to earth as the rest of us... And that includes the head man also... Kevin |

Dago: You are too young to remember "patch fines". Posting a picture like that could get you a pile of patches. I'm thinking of all the law enforcement agencies downloading going ....Thhhaaaaaaaaaaaaat's what his name is! Looks like a totally cool time! |

Just got a call from "Dan" at the HD dealership servicing my XB12S. I got some good news, and some bad news. The good news is my bike is back together, quicker than I expected. The bad news is that something may be wrong with the primary or transmission. They're tearing it apart to see. It's very expensive and time-consuming to drop a bike, isn't it? |

How about the one with Kevin in it? Is it just me or do Bruce and Keith look like they are posing for a Tommy Hilfiger ad? |

These pictures just keep getting funnier every time I look at them. Hey Chris any idea when you are going to get your bike back. Any chance of a D/FW Buellers getting together for February? |
