dairyland said "NOWAY JOSE", I'll give a kidney for two 05' xbs. so far amg said $1800 payable in 90days! which I dont have that much! and geico said $2200-2300 payable in I think 6 months, I cant come up with $400-500 amonth for insurance, I'm trying to come up with a way to pay the premium in full. |

I'm 32, all my tickets will be off my record by this fall, but geico will not prorate the tickets, its a combination of only having a permit and tickets! if I had a full license and riders edge with tickets only $1500, then with no tickets $600 per year! So I'll just stick it out for the first year and next premium will be cheap. |

Ask about a discounted rate for riding only under certain conditions like daylight hours only, work hours only, bike parked in a locked garage, bike alarm installed, riding with an experienced rider only, and so forth. Just some angles to try. |

Don't tell the next company you call about the tickets. They will process the app now and check later. They may not check until after your first year; and by that time, you should be in the clear. (Message edited by stealthxb on January 25, 2005) |

I just had to hop on the pony and ride around my townhome community. For those of you who haven't been here before, it is a big circle about 1/8 of a mile if that. I rode around 4 times really fast without my helmet. Dam, the Drummer really echos off the houses. 3 different people opened their front door to see if the sky was falling. Man, they gotta hate me! teheheheh.... (Message edited by black_sunshine on January 25, 2005) |

I was using Dairyland for awhile, then discovered that Allstate is actually cheaper. I don't think they promote their MC insurance, but it's there if you ask. I'm 34, no tickets on my record (TX gave you 1 freebie per year) and I'm paying $576/year on a 9S. |

Pop, you sound good rolling down Satt. Blvd.! I have seen you many times but have never been on my bike when I see you, Then I saw you turn down commerce and knew I would see more of you. I just wanted to see your bike up close and invite you to come ride with us. Hulley, I feel your insurance woes, I have a feeling I may be refinancing my house to pay off the bike come next renewal. I pay just over $1600 a year with Progressive with two tickets and an accident. Shred, the stunt quad is up and ready to be played with, we will go hit a big open area and play. Anyone up for a cold arse VORTEX RUN THURSDAY? |

B_S, you said you cut 1" off of each end of your bars. Did you have any problems with cable length at all or was it simply bolt on? Thanks, Odie |

No tuning yesterday. I couldn't get out of here in time to meet Shred. By the time I got home and over to Shred's it was too late to do anything. I did get to ride for about 30 minutes, better than nothing I guess. I don't like the looks of the weekend... Maybe they're wrong... I was thinking about the Tex also. If I can, I will. So that's a definite maybe. |
