Alex,my list looks like one of those cartoon ones that unfolds, and unfolds, and unfolds---- I have a great imagination and just need buckets of money and more time off to work on them--kinda mutually exclusive as my overtime has been a major source of racing funds. Prime goal at this time is that 200 MPH Club hat, from there----collect more records and up the ante. |

Hello All, I'm new to the BadWeb as user, but I've been a reader for a while. I race in the F-USA series and a few AMA races and I just wanted to tell you guys how much I appreciate your support for racing. It's always good to see you guys at the track. In case anyone was wondering, I live in KC and I ride for Blue Springs H-D. |

Hey Walt, great to see you online. What can you tell us about your racing plans for this year? Which AMA FX races might you contest? |

Thanks Blake. A few might remember my old bike; full faired X1 with and XB front end on it. There's been a couple pictures of it on BadWeb before. Anyway, my plans are to run the full F-USA series again. I am also planning on doing the Pikes Peak round with the AMA. I may do the Laguna Seca and/or Mid-Ohio rounds as well. Last year we were the only other Buell to qualify for a Formula Xtreme race; other than the Kosko and Hal's bikes. Hopefully this year we can make a few more. I ran the ProThunder series in 2002 and I would love to get back to the AMA full time. |

Tally has been updated. We are a go! Thanks to all supporters of this grass roots effort. Concerning the state of action on this effort (see points 1 thru 4 at top of page), please keep your comments and suggestions coming! |

I have one question. Don't crucify me, just having some thoughts cross my mind... Would it make any difference to anyone if the fund was used for FUSA National Thunderbike Series instead of AMAPR FX? Would that be more or less appealing to those who have already pledged their support? |

How about a 1/4 or 1/3 to AMA series to keep up our support for the team(s) running in that series. Plus I think it gets better press coverage, (just my opinion). Looks good Blake lets get the money to the racers soon so they will be there. Especially Daytona! |

Blake- could you elaborate on where any significant differences would lye? i ask because (and i may be alone here) i'm really not very familiar with the different leagues and classes of races, therefore any reason to change where the contingency is placed is unknown to me. Ultimately, however, i could really care less where it goes as long as we're supporting Buell racing in one form or another |

"Would it make any difference to anyone if the fund was used for FUSA National Thunderbike Series instead of AMAPR FX? " I would be less enthused about it, but would still fork over the dough... |

Mike (Coolice), We barely have enough to support the AMAPR FX effort. There is none left over to support anything else at this point. Minimum funding needed to secure the AMA FX program for the entire season is $6,500. They require a minumum of $500/event and I believe they will have ten FX events this year. Daytona is not looking very promising for Buell entries this year. The teams just didn't have enough lead time to prepare for a 200 mile race, which is a whole different scenario compared to the typical ~50 mile sprints normally run. I'm still hopeful that we will see some Buells run the 200. Just not sure. |

I think the AMA guys need our money more. I imagine the difference in funds received between the haves and the have nots is greater in this series. Our contribution would do more to even the playing field. Whereas, by comparison I would imagine the Formula USA guys are much closer to equal with the other teams in their series. |

You can put me in for a $100. Just my opinion and my observation ...... you'd probably get more donations if the BadWeb would go back to a Buell and a motorcycle discussion site. -SD:>0 |

Oh, I’d also be willing to put my DS RR1200 up to a raffle and all the greenbacks over $11,000 would go to the fund. Dunno, just a weird thought. -SD: |
