Hope you guys have funn tomorrow, while I sit in class looking out the window... Wishing I could ride... You guys have fun, hopefully I'll be available to ride next weekend, weather permitting. Yea, but the roads get really crappy here in Az when it rains! Yall be careful out there... Eliz says she doesn't want her brother to start on a bike that big cuz he's got no self control. What? She started on a 984! I have to agree with her though... I've seen him drive! Why don't we send him the info and let him decide OK. He's as tall as I am and while I rode fine on the Blast, I'll bet it looked even funnier than me on the XB! So after my rambling, yea, send it to me. Thanks. He's been approved for six large. For that he could buy an XB on E-bay right now! I personally think he should go that route. |

How'd that big red eye-talian thing git in those pictures? Just ribbing ya Al. Your bike sounds great and I love the new OZ's. Hey Wycked, did you notice that we went SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO fast today that we shifted the space time continium? Look at the dates in the pics....we went back to 2000! Hey Al and Mikel, fun as always! Maybe when FOOTBALL season gets over some of these other guys will join us. I mean the beat downs both losing teams got were definitely worth giving up riding time. SHEESH! |

sorry guys i didnt get the post in time to go. i even had an all day pass as well..bad news is my buell has now had the ignition pried apart from sum1 trying to steal it and they stole what was left of my 929. gotta love the weekends . i now have the money for tires and a pipe but dont know if i should put it into the bike if they are just going to come back and take it. on that note i went to check in trade in value on the xb9r and they called harley to get a quote, the sales guy said they are taking a loss and selling new ones at 5900. what a bunch of crap i was just there and saw nothing under 7000. anyways they offered me 4000 for it. any suggestions ??? if i traded it it would go for a car right now ;( brian |

Brian, Insurance companies always lo-ball you with their first offer, tell them what you want and stick to it. You will be able to negotiate a better return. |

Dropnstyle, I use alarms on ALL my Buells since I had one stolen when I lived down in Tucson. I use Gorilla alarms on two of them, and a NADY on the other. You can find the Gorilla alarms at: Denniskirk.com or JPcycles.com I'm sure many other places sell them, look around, they are pretty easy to install, and have both motion and shock sensors. I also use a 3/8" chain for added security... |

Hey Wycked, did you make it home ok? I noticed when I pulled that U-turn that your shifter was hanging down. I guess that fix didn't hold that well, eh? I hope all is ok. Let me know if you get off for Sunday. |

It held but the lack of tension on the piece we took the bolt from caused it to jump since the trans was jammed in gear again. Got it realigned again, nursed it home aways and put some muscle into shifting it while feathering the clutch. Between me and the trans it unjammed the shifter. |

Ya, I thought that was going to happen, I had that big bolt there, but you wanted to use that one. I kept my mouth shut, and let you do your repairs. your bike, your decision. glad you made it back ok. You need to start carrying them spare shifter parts with you. |

It wouldn't have been a problem if the trans hadn't been somewhat jammed. The shifting is so light normally that I went with what I knew, and with as easy as we were twisting the lever and such parked I didn't realise it had somewhat jammed up. If I had, I WOULD have taken your suggestion totally. |

Dang Brian, I'm gonna miss all you guys this week. I'm going out of town in the morning. No telling when I'll get back. At least I got in one last good ride. I went out to Tortilla Flats today. What a Beulltiful day to ride! I know how excited you guys get when I post pics of my S1W, so calm your selves down. I added a new accessory, i think it is the perfect addition to that little rear seat: I also got her to do the little goofy dance, When we got to the Flats, after blasting one really primo road in, this is what we saw... I was chatting with the owner of the yellow Duck, he was telling me he's had more problems with it than his harley! There were tons of sport bikes, and harleys, but alas, no Buells besides mine. We took the "bush" highway back past the lake, and Fountain hills. All in all, a great ride. Sorry nobody could make it. Have a fun week, I'll have my laptop with me and hopefully will be at a hotel with high speed internet. take it easy my friends!!!

no, it's northeast of Apache Junction in the superstition mountains. it winds past the lakes along the salt river from Phoenix to Roosevelt lake. It turns to dirt after the Flats. |

1-7pm I work at the Sam's Club at 83rd and Union Hills. When you came off the 101 and went down Union Hills to 91st to get to my house, just turn left at 83rd instead. Sam's is the opposite end of the lot from Walmart. I will be in the tire department. |

Sam's club has the best price on truck tires! I can get 4 Dunlop mudders installed for $550! That's great. If I wasn't so far away I'd bring my truck to you Wycked. That way I know a crap job wasn't done on my truck! Hey Brian, good news. I got approved and already have equity. My subdivision raised the prices on their housing and mine isn't even built yet, but I bought at the lower price. Might have to call ya about an equity LOC JK...
