This Saturday is that day when I will have to start learning to share. If I haven’t learned it already I’m doomed actually. I’m getting married to my sweetheart. With more than 300 miles between us during the more than 4 year relationship we are SO ready for this day. It’s been great having a relationship with all the old fashioned values but it makes this event extremely frightening. Though like any Buell rider (XB9r)… doing 120 mph in a suggested 70 mph corner you just tuck in, look out and hammer the throttle on harder knowing you’ll be grinning from ear to ear once you’ve hit the straight-away. Good news is that the XB9r has a permanent place in the double car garage, though I can’t say the same for the S3. Just wanted to share my joy with the folks that I’ve chatted with for the past.... several years. She's known me as long as I've owned my Buell cycles. Unfortunately I parted with the turquoise S2 Thunderbolt several years ago and the S3 came with a more comfortable seat. She's seen the joy that the new XB9r has brought me. |

It took me about a year to get used to answering to someone else, and I hadn't been on my own that long before we got married. Learn what's worth fighting for and what's not. Most of the time it isn't. |

Marrage is like hitting a corner at twice the posted speed, if you're set up right, you'll go through and come out with a smile, if you go in haphazard, it could kill you. Choosing a partner is the most important decision of your adult life. Best of luck. Make lots of babies either way. |

Only piece of advice I can give you is, listen to her she's right, you're wrong, learn damage control. seriously though, enjoy your life together, it's so much more fun with someone to share it. All the best for the big day. |

"Congratulations and best wishes. Prepare to grow." This looks like I cryptic reference to the fact from here on in you will have no money and will need to grow your own food to survive. Congratulations hope the day goes well for you both. |

Ahh yes, the art of yes dear comes in handy. I used to laugh when my grandmother would start yapping in the kitchen and my grandpa would reach up and turn his hearing aid off I wish you and your bride to be the best! Get her on two wheels as fast as you can! I can't begin to describe the joy Eliz and I have shared riding together. (Thanks again Wycked!) |

Congratulations! My wife is the center of my life, there is nothing better than a good wife. I'm new to it (4 years), but it does seem to get better every year that we are together. The second year is kind of a pain in the though, people seem to adjust a lot in the second year just from what I have observed and my second year. Anyway- big or small wedding? |

Here are some wedding pictures for your viewing pleasure: West Virginia State Capitol, Charleston, WV, a really neat place to have a wedding. The Gold dome is undergoing renovations. The view inside the Rotunda The getaway vehicle, currently somewhere in the Orlando, FL area..... Mindy, Thad, myself and Linda (Message edited by josé_quiñones on January 17, 2005) |

The wedding went really well... it was the first stand up serimony I'd ever been to. The minister forgot to tell the crowd to sit down. They stood for the whole thing, glad it was only 30 min long. Bad thing was we'd paid for the seats that were used for only 5 minutes. The honeymoon was nice, away from the colder weather. We came back just in time for the 1 ft of snow in the northeast. Had to shovel the driveway out and park the vette and take the truck. The poor vette is salt laten. I was riding the XB9 all the way up until I left for the wedding. It made for some great memories. I'll work on getting her to ride her own cycle. Jose, it was great to see you all there. SO glad you could make it! Thanks for posting some pictures. The car had a tendency to spin the rear wheels when taking off... I loved watching the video of the get-a-way. THere were approx 200 people at the wedding. So it was a big one. |

Oh so that's what happened, we were wondering why. Actually after driving 6 hours to get there it was good to stand up for a bit. See you soon! |
