What a long strange trip this one was. A couple key points of interest. -Got the chance to stop by the OCC store. Give the boys credit the bikes are beautiful in person. -Black and Grey; the hangers(for leathers)are awesome. Now have one for each set of leathers. -Street and Comp; Went Vanson shopping and found a to good a deal to pass on. A new Velociraptor(jacket) is in the closet. -Crossroads; What can you say...Got a tour of the shop and picked up some new stuff for the bike. -Home for Xmas(Minnesota) and home for the new year(Arkansas). With a stop-over in Detroit. Looks like I have some catching up to do. Three months worth that is.... | ||

Bluz, Was a whirlwind tour. Had not been home on a good note in 5 years. My mother kept me pretty well occupied. Looking at being back up in late may / early june again. Dragging the bike up and possibly dragging a second back with me. I know where a loaded XB9 is sitting and going pretty cheap. | ||

Hmmmm Where to start. rain, rain and more rain! Along with a dead battery. Adding a few cosmetic thingies to it though. I should have never stopped at Crossroads while I was home. Marc was way to kind to me. Thought about ya as I blew through Chi-town on xmas eve. Any other time I would have stopped. I was on a mission to be home for xmas day. Detroit to Hastings in record time for me. Where is all the snow up there? Whats with the toll increases? | ||

foot and a half is all, brother -- in spite of the news folks making sound like bodies were piling up left right and center -- tollway folks decided to fund big expansion (which I am not entirely sure I believe in) on the back of folks that don't have the little electronic billing devices -- quite a stir, locally, but it's Illinois politiks at it's finest -- guess I just didn't vote often enough! didthe Air Cleaner ever make it's way to ya?? | ||

Will do. I tell you though. Those XB heads make a big difference. Performance and maintenance. Should I ever need to remove the rear rocker box cover....I will have to rotate the engine down. | ||

Chop and Blake, I moved the posts out of the public parts of the board. This is a personal issue and ought to be handled privately via email, or other private channel. Please take it offline, don't make me ban Blake from badweb  and I did not consult Blake first, I did what I thought was right and what I would have done for *any* other poster regardless of role here at the site. Blake, being directly involved was not in a position to do what any of the custodians would normally do. Chop, your last post was not deleted, it is in a place where Blake will see it.
